Powered by a dual-core 2.13GHz Atom processor and with 4GB of RAM, in addition to 5 disk bays and tight integration with the Wuala cloud service, this will be a very interesting entry for SMB’s shopping NAS products. Today LaCie announced the 5big NAS Pro, its latest high-performance 5-bay network-attached storage solution powered by Intel®. Data stored on Wuala is protected by industry-best security. Files are encrypted before they are sent to the cloud so no one, not even a LaCie employee, could access them.
