Borderlands 2 now available to buy on the Mac

Yep, you read that correctly – Borderlands 2 is now available to buy on the Mac – wub wub!.

Borderlands 2 is currently a single player experience. Mac to Mac co-op multiplayer and Game Center support for Borderlands 2 are due in early 2013 with a free app update.

One really cool thing is that co-op multiplayer will be cross-platform so Mac owners can play with PC owners.

Your Mac will need a minimum spec as follows:

• CPU Processor: Intel Quad Core
• CPU Speed: 2.4 GHz
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Video Memory512MB

Exclusive to the Mac App Store version of Borderlands 2, enjoy the new Fired Up skins along with a unique head for each vault hunter. Oh and they threw in a Contraband Sky Rocket Grenade mod too. Now go have some fun!
