Final Thoughts

If you are in the market for a new games machine and you want to start from scratch, then buying a bundle is a good way to go. You could of course buy all the bits and build one yourself if you feel comfortable doing that, but then it’s also easier sometimes to have someone else do all the hard work for you, and this is exactly what Scan have done with the Value V15 PC bundle.

It is a great collection of components, ranging from the Silverstone case, which is a particular favourite of mine, including front USB 3.0 ports, to the 8GB of memory.

And lets not forget the 2GB MSI GeForce GT 640 graphics card is a really good addition to bundle. It works really well and all the latest games will certainly benefit from having it in the machine.

Performance wise this machine is fast – ok, it’s not the fastest machine out there, but it certainly gets the job done. Personally I would recommend a larger hard drive – in fact, I would even go as far as to recommend an SSD for your primary drive, it really does make a difference. One of the great things about this machine is that you can easily upgrade later – there is certainly room in the case.

You can of course choose a different bundle from Scan, there are a lot to choose from, but in the case of this one, the Value V15 PC bundle, we have to highly recommend it as a great, and fairly cheap way of getting a great gaming PC. Good job Scan!

The cost of this bundle at the time of review was £534.85 including VAT.
