Using as a Dock

Another useful feature is the PC MODE, which mean you can use it as a dock for up to four hard drives.

When you connect the dock to your PC, via the USB 3.0 cable or the eSATA cable you will see PC MODE displayed on the front.

You can also see what connection you are using on the display, in this case, USB 3.0.

The first time you connect it to your PC, Windows will install the necessary drivers.

And then should automatically find any hard drives that are connected – in this case, I had a drive connected into Disk 2 and 4.

They will then be visible in Windows as normal drives.

Copying data from one docked drive to another docked drive gave some good results.
