You then have the opportunity to set a password, format and resize the drive, and more.
The first thing to do is to format and resize the drive to whatever you want.
You will always have to have a public partition but you can make it very small.
It doesn’t take very long.
Then it’s time to set a password – try to make it something memorable, but not something that will be really easy to guess.
Remember, if you get the password wrong six times then the drive will be formatted and the data will be lost (which if the drive fell into the wrong hands is exactly what you would want).
When you then connect the drive to any computer in the future you wont be able to access the protected files until you unlock it!
