This week, Microsoft’s search engine – Bing – will showcase the work of five small UK charities, enabling each cause to talk about the valuable contribution they are making to the communities they work in.
The fourth of the five charities to appear on the Bing Homepage (today) is User Voice. User Voice focuses on Criminal Justice and associated services. It is led by ex-offenders whose mission it is to bring about reforms and reduce offending by fostering dialogue between those with criminal justice experience and the system itself.
Additional information about the challenges that these charities seek to tackle are available by clicking on the Bing homepage hotspots. You can also watch in-depth videos with the founders and staff and find out more about each cause, including details of how you can make a donation or help, by visiting www.bing.com/HelpYourBritain.
The five charities featured throughout the week will mark the start of a longer on-going campaign, with Bing handing over its Homepage to a new UK charity on the final Friday of every month. This is where Bing users have the opportunity to nominate a charity that they would like to see featured on the Bing homepage by submitting entries via the Help Your Britain page on Bing.com.
