Last month we reported that Sonos were warning users not to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion because of some issues. Now they have issued a further update on the situation.
Here is the update from Sonos:
Progress Report: Sonos and Lion resolution coming soon
First things first. We’d like to apologize. We know that not being able to use your Sonos system with Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) has been a real drag.
What’s taking so long? Trust us, we’re not happy either. The Sonos team has been working feverishly with the team at Apple for the last month, and we’ve had some challenges that delayed the fix. The good news is that we’ve worked with Apple to isolate the problem and we believe we have a fix. To make sure it’s right, we’re going to test it rigorously before releasing it to you.
The long and the short of it. We are began beta testing earlier this week and if all goes well, we expect that you will be able to enjoy Sonos with Lion in the next two weeks. We promise to let you know the moment it’s ready.
Thanks again for your patience.
Sincerely,
Andrew Schulert
Vice President, Quality
Sonos, Inc.
So hopefully not too much longer to wait then!

It’s really great to hear that the team is work very closely with apple and hopefully things will fall in place soon. Thanks for the update.
My Sonos still doesnt work, the Sonos Network goes down and resets over and over. Its s**t
Have you spoken to Sonos about it?
