Here is the UK we have had Spotify for a while, and it’s very cool! Last week we told you that Spotify was coming soon to the US and there was a beta. Well Spotify is launching today in the US!


What is Spotify?

Here is how they describe themselves if you don’t know what Spotify is:

Spotify is a new way to listen to music. Millions of tracks, any time you like. Just search for it in Spotify, then play it. Just help yourself to whatever you want, whenever you want it.

Basically Spotify is an on demand music service, but to really appreciate it you have to try it. It is really good!

So with Spotify launching in the US today, I can only wonder what this will do to Pandora’s customer base?

Here is what Spotify told us overnight:

Spotify, the award-winning digital music service loved by millions of Europeans, will become available tomorrow morning in the United States by invitation and subscription. Spotify is a new way to listen to and manage your music, discover new tracks and share songs and playlists with friends – music whenever you want it, wherever you are.
