Removing the sides is the first order of business. Six screws and comes off as easy as a front clasp.

Once the sides are added you can remove the optical tray and install your drive.

The hard drive tray sits under the motherboard. It makes the drive inaccessible after the motherboard is installed. I know this is a “test bench” but this location is dumb.

The motherboard looks great. Time to start adding wires and the memory.

I had a 400 watt Corsair from my UEFI build that I could recycle. It was very tight and I would suggest a modular PSU for a cleaner look.

Once I routed the cables and put the sides back on I was basically done. I connected the power, CPU pins, SATA cables and the front connectors and was ready for Windows installation.
