Using the iPad Stand
All the pieces come apart fairly easily, although fitting some of the pieces together required a little bit of effort.
Fitting it in the Car
The holder part comes apart and you put one piece on either side of the headrest in the car and then screw it back together.
And that’s it.
Final Thoughts
Just like the iPad Stand from Bracketron we reviewed yesterday, there really isn’t much to say about the iPad Stand with Headrest Mount – it does what it says on the tin. It surely holds your iPad in place either horizontally or vertically and attaches fairly easily to the back of a car seat.
It does feel a little “plasticy” but it was pretty solid as well.
The packaging requires a knife to get into, so if you are buying this to use immediately you might want to have the store open it for you before you leave.
One thing I wasn’t impress with was the lack of instructions in the packaging. While it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to fit all the pieces together, a simple step by step would have made it just that little bit quicker and easier. Thankfully the picture on the packaging is just about usable for this task.
Adjusting the viewing angle is a bit hard because the pieces of the mount are really tight, so a little bit of trial and error is probably likely. But eventually you will get the angle you want.
Overall very useful if you want to mount your iPad in your car so that a passenger in the back of the car can watch it.
The Bracketron iPad Stand with Headrest Mount retails for $69.95 and can be ordered from the Bracketron website.
