Well as you have probably guessed by now, it is that time of year ago where we all trek out to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show, and both Tim and myself will be covering as much as we possibly can for you.

Last year was a busy few days full of 3D televisions, media streamers, Parrot Drones, and more.

This year, as I predicted on the Digital Lifestyle Show podcast last week, I suspect there will be a lot more 3D televisions, tablets, streaming devices and there are rumours of a box from Microsoft with embedded media center in.

So Tim and I will be wondering around the show, we have plenty of meetings arranged, and we will take pictures, shoot video and generally do our best to get you all the news from CES as quickly as we can.

And if there is something specific you want to see just let us know and we will do our best to cover it for you.

And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and also on Facebook.

  1. I was wondering (or do I mean wandering?) if you could report on what's happening with new PCs, especially multi-core desktops.

  2. Sticking to the WHS theme of the site… 🙂

    1. What is the status of Fail?

    2. What kinds of products can we hope to see from the Vail OEMs? In particular, if DE is indeed finally and irrevocably dead, what are some of the DE-replacements coming from the OEMs?

    3. What are some of the alternatives out there to WHS? Are any of the NAS providers looking into mixed-drive size storage pools?
