As I mentioned, there is a pen holder – now I could put a normal writing pen there if I wanted to, but as I now have the Griffin Stylus I figured I would it there instead.

The iPad is stored in the protection pouch when not in use – this pouch has velvet in it to ensure the iPad screen is not damaged or scrapped and there is a locking strap to ensure that the iPad doesn’t accidentally slip out when you open the Folio.

When the iPad is securely locked in the pouch it doesn’t increase the size of the Folio very much at all.

One of the really nice features of the Folio is the stand, which is not only adjustable, but removable as well. You can vary the angle by up to 30 degrees and you can even use the stand in portrait or landscape, depending on your needs, and it also allows easy use for either left or right handed users, so that is good.

Using the stand, the iPad felt very secure and comfortable to use.

Final Thoughts
Up until now, the only case I have been using with my iPad is the official Apple one, which is fine for protecting the iPad but that is all it does. If I had any paperwork, or I wanted to carry around the stylus I would have to carry them around separately, which isn’t a huge issue but now I don’t have to worry as I can take everything I might need for a meeting with me in one case.
Next week I am off to CES in Las Vegas and so this is a very welcome addition to my CES travel kit!
The Executive Folio retails for $69 with a flat rate shipping fee of $9.99 (although if you order two or more you get free shipping). The shipping itself was very quick – mine only took a few days to arrive, and that included over Christmas.
You can learn more, and place your order from the FrappeDesign website.
