Here we take a look at unboxing the new Synology USB Station 2 device.
We first mentioned the Synology USB Station 2 earlier this month.
Here is how Synology describe the USB Station 2:
USB Station 2 is designed to provide a cost-effective solution for USB storage sharing, multimedia center, and print server for home and small workgroup. The operating system, Synology DiskStation Manager 3.0, delivers rich features for multimedia enjoyments, Internet file sharing, budget print server, and energy-saving options.
What’s in the Box?
The box itself is very small, and light – at first you think there is nothing it it, it really is that light.
The USB Station 2 is in the box, along with a power supply, cable, manual and CD.
A Closer Look at the USB Station 2
As you can see from the pictures below, there is a power connection, a LAN connector and 2 USB ports – and that’s it for the back.
The front just has 3 lights – power, LAN, and USB.
Look out for the UWHS hands-on review shortly, and until then you can find out more from the Synology website.
