Ian, Garry and myself have talked about aTV and Apple TV a few times over on the Media Center Show.

Here is the press release which talks about last.fm which is included in the 4.2 update:

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO – 9/21/10 – aTV Flash version 4.2 has been released.  This version brings a robust, certified Last.fm app to the AppleTV.

Last.fm for AppleTV provides a rich, visually engaging interface that allows you to experience your favorite music like never before. Includes support for streaming Last.fm radio, artist bios, artist artwork and scrobbling recent plays back to Last.fm.

As always, aTV Flash includes robust support for additional media formats that are not typically supported by the AppleTV.  These formats included AVI, MP4, WMV, VIDEO_TS files, and many more.  Additionally it adds a fully integrated WebKit based web browser, and the ability to expand the storage capacity through the use of an external USB hard drive.
