VLC Player for the Apple iPad Out Now

There is now a version of VLC Player available for the iPad – and it’s free!

One of the things that has been discussed a few times by Ian Dixon, Garry Whittaker and myself on the Media Center Show is media playback on the Apple iPad. Well that great piece of software, VLC Player has now been released for the iPad and is available to download now, for free, from the Apple App Store.

I’m downloading now!

Awesome, I use VLC to stream media from my WHS and generally favor it over AirVideo

Wow. That's so cool. I've been using VLC for years, favoring it over everything else. It just works.
