It was only a few weeks ago that version 4.02 was released, now 4.04 is out and ready to be installed.
Here is how Millisoft describe TunerFree MCE:
TunerFreeMCE is a Windows Media Center add-in for watching streaming internet TV programs on your PC and Media Center Extender. For UK users, it has support for live TV and catch up programs from the UK’s main TV providers (BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five), as well as all of the BBC Radio stations. It also has support for the recently launched MSN Video Player in the UK. For US users, it has support for the full Hulu catalogue of TV programs, all through an easy to use Media Center interface.
Here is the latest change log since 4.02:
Change Log
4.0.4 Fixed a bug in 4.0.3 with the background app crashing.
4.0.3 Updated search to look at program descriptions and episode names.
Fixed bug with plugin click positions.
Corrected BBC playing for low resolution displays.
So what are you waiting for – go update now!
I heard you and Ian talking about it. Would you recommend it for US based WMCs?
Hey Tim
Not sure if it will work in the US – worth a try though as its great, and free 🙂
Andrew
Just installed it. Does not show anything for the US side. Did not see any Hulu or any other watchable content. Did get to hear some BBC radio which is cool but nothing else. Bummer!
Strange – did you click the Update button? Not sure what you are supposed to get anyway.

Andrew
I get exactly what the UK screenshots show. I was just expecting something more US-centric for our version.
