WHATS IN THE BOX

Apart from the DS110+, you get a software disk, power supply, some screws, a cable and a manual. The CD contains software for various DiskStation models.

ADDING THE DRIVE

Unlike previous Synology boxes, the DS110+ doesn’t have a drive bay that you remove and slot the hard drive in. For the DS110+ you carefully slide off the top panel revealing the inside.

From there you fit the drive between the metal brackets and then screw the drive into place.

Then its just a case of sliding the cover back on and adding two screws to the back of the unit to hold the cover in place (these screws are not fitted out of the box but come in a small pouch).
