HP MediaSmart Server Software
All HP MSS run on the same Windows Home Server operating system platform from Microsoft but this model year HP made their proprietary interface slightly different. All HP MSS do basically the same thing but have either a 1.X, 2.X server software update available (for older models) or 3.0 which is shipped with the new models.
If the HP software version is important to you then check with the HP website for details on each version. Either way, each HP software version is really exciting to work with and gets regular updates from Microsoft and HP.
