Kia Motors

The Microsoft Auto for Kia, called UVO or “Your Voice”, has a 4.3” screen and can also be used hands free. The screen doubles as a backup camera and integrates phone, music and other devices. You can also send and receive SMS text messages. Sweet. Does that mean my car could tell me when my WHS is acting up?

The Kia Sorento is the only vehicle that Kia will offer the system on at first in 2011 but they plan adding additional models in the coming years.

  • Natural Interface Advancements
  • Custom Media Experiences with MyMusic
  • Rear Backup Camera
  • Ability to Continuously Update Features and Services

Information on Microsoft Auto

If you are going to buy a automobile soon I would strongly suggest looking at a vehicle with Microsoft Auto first. You really want this connectivity. Seriously. Dude, you car can alert you when your WHS gets an error!

Microsoft has a very informative pdf brochure at:

Overall I was very impressed with Microsoft Auto. Now if they only made an OEM retrofit package…

We have a Fiat 500 and I have to say it is suprisingly roomy (stop those thoughts now)!

The capabilites that come with the car are amazing for the price – we didnt know about them when we collected the car, I saw the Windows logo and smiled (that was over a year ago now).

Pity my car doesn't have the same 🙁
