Over the summer we reported on the beta for Windows Home Server Power Pack 3.

At the time Microsoft stated “we hope to release the update prior to the Windows 7 General Availability date of October 22”.

Yesterday Microsoft posted an update on their blog. Basically it looks like WHS PP3 won’t ship now before Windows 7 – the latest information on the blog post is “We expect to deliver before the end of the year”.

So there you have it, PP3 is coming, just not as quickly as was originally hoped!
