Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has today announced that it will release a home version of the aerial battle arcade hit, Star Wars : Battle Pod, which first appeared in US arcades in January 2015, in Europe, North America, Japan, and other regions.

The Battle Pods will be available to order beginning 18th June with a MSRP at US$35,000/ UK £24,000 (Shipping and setting fees separate)

Made upon order for personal home use, the special Premium Edition of Star Wars : Battle Pod will be equipped with genuine leather seats that are synchronized to move/react to the action of the game and is available in two different glamorous designs inspired by the images of the Rebel Alliance and Darth Vader.

This arcade masterpiece including the owners name and a product serial number engraved plate along with: a specially bound owner’s manual and exclusive carpeting. Owners will also have their name added to the game ending credits. MSRP for the premium edition is set at US$100,000 (Shipping and setting fees separate).

Is OnePlus announcing the OnePlus Two next week?

Today OnePlus has announced via twitter and Google+ that its has something to say this coming Monday the 1st June, back in April we saw the OnePlus One take a giant step forward as it put the invite system that had long plagued sales of the handset behind it.

Here at Connected Digital World we’d like to see from the OnePlus 2. With a rumour released date for that model’s not expected until Q3 of this year, that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 810, it will run OnePlus’ own OxygenOS, but with this new teaser has us wondering if OnePlus might not have some early news to share with us, as the company mentions something coming on 1st June with the potential to “shake up the tech industry.” tag line.

OnePlus tells us that it’s “time for change,” and the image it shares above, with the OnePlus one being erased away, certainly suggests it could be serious about that. Still, there are a million ways this news could go: changing software, changing hardware, changing accessories … and while we might like to hope that the company could be talking about moving forward to the OnePlus 2, that’s far from a given.

Prepare for a globetrotting Call of Duty DLC experience like no other, against the backdrops of several of the greatest monuments around the world in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy. On 2^nd June, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Activision Publishing, Inc and Sledgehammer Games, will be available first on the Xbox Live for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow.

From the famed Houses of Parliament in London, to the snowy confines of the Kremlin in Moscow, players will experience a diverse landscape of multiplayer mayhem, including the return of one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in Call of Duty history, “Highrise,” which first debuted in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now transported to the year 2054.

“Set against iconic landmarks, Supremacy takes players across the world in some of our most exciting maps to date. New and exciting vertical routes give players unique ways to dominate the battle through both the exo movement set and the new Exo Grapple ability. We are also thrilled to reimagine one of the most popular Call of Duty maps ever, Modern Warfare 2’s Highrise, with exo and grapple gameplay for fans to enjoy,” said Michael Condrey, Co-Founder and Studio Head, Sledgehammer Games.

“This is not only the four new multiplayer maps, but the continuation of the popular Exo Zombies saga. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy includes four new, action-packed multiplayer maps, all featuring the new Exo Grapple mechanic, which adds a layer of fun and strategy to the experience.

Parliament: Docked on the River Thames, this military cargo ship delivers a view of the London cityscape along with a fast-paced combat experience. Mixed site-lines provide opportunities for all styles of play to dominate this medium-sized map. Players can take control of the map-based scorestreak to unleash a barrage of missiles that annihilate enemies.
Kremlin: Gamers must prepare for intense combat outside Russia’s presidential palace in the new map Kremlin, as they navigate the worn-torn buildings of Red Square in this medium-sized, three-lane map. Secure elevated positions to give the team a strategic advantage, or use exoskeleton capabilities to avoid being caught in the minefield that activates mid-match.
Compound: Players take combat preparation to the limit in an Atlas training facility hidden away in the Colorado wilderness, as they’ll have to be quick on the trigger in this small, symmetrical map, which funnels high-speed combat through tight corners to the main tower structures.
Skyrise: Players deploy to an Atlas Skyscraper overlooking the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Based on the fan-favourite, Highrise, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by Infinity Ward, this map brings new exoskeleton mechanics to the classic multiplayer layout. Gamers must dominate the power positions in the centre of this small-to-medium sized map to control the key navigation points.

The popular Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new episode, Carrier. Following the end of the last episode, Infected, Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness, Burn Notice) steps in and joins the battle-hardened cast of John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream) and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street). In Carrier, the four are trapped on an Atlas aircraft carrier. Carrier features advanced new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, Sentinel support squads and a host of new zombie enemies.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy will be available first on Xbox Live on 2^nd June. The Supremacy DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass*, featuring all four DLC Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle.

New details on Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Playset

Disney Interactive today released new assets and information for Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic, one of the three Star Wars Play Sets to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits this year.

Developed by Ninja Theory, in partnership with Avalanche Software, the game is set to deliver an authentic family-friendly Star Wars game experience with enhanced combat system. Set during the latter years of the Clone Wars, players will travel to four locations and explore open worlds of Tatooine and Coruscant, battle droids in Geonosis and partake in an epic boss battle in Naboo.

Along the way, players will use the Force and master their Lightsaber skills as they fight alongside Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda to save the Republic and defeat the Separatists. Each Jedi character is given specialised Force combat abilities and Force finishing moves, as well as unique Lightsaber forms with powerful combo attacks.

As Jedi Master Yoda, for example, players will leap into action with his agile and acrobatic prowess. Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano uses her lightning-fast dual Lightsabers to carve up Battledroids, while Darth Maul uses his double-bladed Lightsaber and power in the dark side of the Force in a death-defying duel against the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set is included in the Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack available this autumn, which also includes the Disney Infinity 3.0 Base, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker character figures, and a web code card that unlocks content for PC and mobile devices.

The game will be available this autumn. Two additional Star Wars Play Sets will be available for Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits this holiday, including Star Wars: Rise Against the Empire and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

In addition, players will be able to unlock the ability for all Star Wars characters to play inside all of the Star Wars Play Sets, as well as in the newly enhanced Toy Box, along with all characters previously released for Disney Infinity

The 1980s is officially the Nation’s favourite decade for movies with cult 80s films Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future and E.T. amongst the most watched. The 1990s followed closely in second place with memorable classics like Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas and Titanic.

The recent poll, commissioned by subscription-free satellite TV service Freesat, also revealed that the typical adult has seen their favourite movie a dozen times. Leading the most re-watched – or ‘Deja-viewed’ – list for women was Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman, while The Great Escape and Star Wars cemented their positions respectively as the films men would choose to re-watch.

The Shawshank Redemption also featured as one of the top films that Brits feel they have to watch when it’s on TV, even if they’ve watched it many times before, with one in six of us unable to turn it off.

The survey also highlighted what many of us feel at some point; that one in eight of us is so overwhelmed with choice, we’ve ended up not watching a film at all. Additionally, one in ten of us have spent so long deciding which film to watch, we’ve ended up running out of time to watch the whole thing.

Paul Gilshan, Freesat‘s Marketing Director, said: “The results highlight that we’re a nation passionate about film. It’s great to see that so many of the fantastic films highlighted in the poll are regularly available, completely free of charge, to Freesat viewers across our 200 free-to-air channels.”

“The poll also revealed that movie lovers are often overwhelmed by choice. That’s why features that help viewers to discover new films, like our Showcase recommendation service, are so important.”

The opinion poll for Freesat was carried out by Opinion Matters.

The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within is out now

The Executioner DLC is the third and final add-on for The Evil Within, is available today.

The Executioner places players in a series of battle arenas all from the first-person perspective of The Keeper. Initially armed with The Keeper’s signature hammer, players will fight against a host of The Evil Within’s iconic villains to earn new weapons and upgrades. Set in the Manor House of the Victoriano Estate, The Executioner features first-person melee combat combined with exploration and discovery as players unearth the story of a man forced to become The Keeper.

As the final add-on, The Executioner completes The Evil Within’s Season Pass. Priced at £14.99, the Season Pass offers savings on all three add-ons for the game, including the first two DLCs: The Evil Within: The Assignment and The Evil Within: The Consequence. The Evil Within’s Season Pass is available on PSN, Xbox LIVE, and PC. The Executioner is also available for purchase separately and is priced at £3.99
