Infinite Crisis: New Champion; Mecha Wonder Woman

Mecha Wonder Woman began life as D1A-NA, a diplomatic robot in service to Queen Hippolyta, ruler of the Amazon women of the island nation of Themyscira.

Called the “Wonder Woman” by mass media, Hippolyta made it her life’s work to forge a more peaceful world. D1A-NA was ever-present as the queen traveled the world and in time developed a personality that reflected the idealistic woman’s feelings on justice and equality.  Sadly, while accompanying Hippolyta on an errand of mercy, D1A-NA witnessed the horrific assassination of her queen at the hands of Doom Legion assassin bots. At that moment, she was transformed. An iron resolve developed within her, and she vowed to both avenge the queen’s death and continue her quest.

With aid of the Justice Consortium D1A-NA remade herself, far exceeding her creator’s original design. With these upgrades and knowledge of the Amazonian Warriors stored within her memory banks, she has taken on the mantle of “Wonder Woman” to shine the light of truth on a corrupt, violent world.

How to use voice commands on a PS4

Yesterday PlayStation Access released a new video showcasing off the PlayStation 4 voice commands just in time for the release of the PlayStation 4 this Friday in the UK.

With the PlayStation 4 you can activate voice controls using a PlayStation Camera or the headset that comes bundled with each unit.

With browsing the PlayStation 4 menu, just saying “PlayStation” activates the voice controls. From the point you can say the name of a game, for example “Killzone”, “Battlefield 4” and then say “Start” to begin.

You can also say “Login” to switch a user. If you’re playing a game or using an app, just saying “Home screen” this will takes you back to the menu. At any point you can take a screenshot by saying “Take screenshot”. Finally you can say “Power” lets you log out or turn off the PlayStation 4.

At the moment the PlayStation 4’s voice commands are limited compared to the Xbox One’s, hopefully Sony will add more to the functionality over time.

PlayStation and GAME have today announced that a supply of PlayStation4 consoles will be available to buy at a midnight launch event being held at the PS4 Lounge #4ThePlayers in London’s Covent Garden on Thursday 28th November.

Launch day pre-orders for the PS4 have been sold out since August, such has been the HUGE demand from gamers for the next-generation console. The PS4s, available at the PS4 Lounge, will be on a first come, first served basis from midnight and will provide an ideal opportunity for customers who haven’t yet pre-ordered to get their hands on a PS4 on launch day.

Queuing for the launch event will start from Thursday morning and those in attendance at the event will also be treated to an exclusive performance by Tinie Tempah.

“Day one PS4 pre-orders sold out in record time and this could be the last chance for anyone who wants to get their hands on a console before Christmas”, said Fergal Gara, MD and VP, Sony Computer Entertainment UK & Ireland. “We really wanted to offer some way for people to buy on launch day, and this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that hasn’t already pre-ordered to get their hands on a PS4 on day one. Square Enix have announced that the medieval-fantasy RPG FINAL FANTASY IV: THE AFTER YEARS is now available to download on iOS and Android devices, priced £10.99/€14.49.

A direct sequel to FINAL FANTASY IV, FINAL FANTASY IV: THE AFTER YEARS is set over a dozen years later than its predecessor. Several characters from the first game, including Cecil, Rosa and Kain, will be making a comeback, whilst players are introduced to a new central character: Ceodore, the son of Cecil and Rosa.

It’s been a little while since Gamescom 2013, and we still had one interview left to release. This one is for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

The world is in chaos. The air is thick with tension and the smoke of burned villages. The fearsome Nilfgaardian Empire has struck again, ravaging the hapless Northern Kingdoms. The once mighty who tried to use Geralt are dead or gone. These are uncertain times and no one can say who will rise or fall, who will bring peace to the world and who will bring only misery.

But a force darker and deadlier has appeared. Little do the petty men and women moving their tin-plated armies across the Northern Kingdoms know that their conflict is mere child’s play compared with another otherworldly danger which now looms closer than ever. This brooding danger lusts after one thing: that which matters most to Geralt, that which is dearest to his heart.

I sat down with the story writer to learn more about The Witcher 3:
