Plants vs Zombies Adventures has launched on Facebook, PopCap has announced. Described as a “highly accessible, zombie-zapping adaptation of the original game”, Plants vs Zombies Adventures can be accessed by Facebook users worldwide.
The game, which has been in closed beta for the past two months, shifts the action away from the backyard and into countless new locations.
In addition to new zombie and plant types, players can send hordes of zombies to Facebook friends and compete for high scores in brand new leaderboards.
It also introduces multi-directional play, as well as new power-ups, including the Zombie Zapper, Gardening Glove and Dynamite.
“We’re thrilled to bring new ‘Adventures’ to Plants vs Zombies fans around the world, challenging them to use new strategies to defeat zombies as they come from all directions in a range of cool new settings,” explained PopCap’s Curt Bererton
“We know gamers have been clamouring for new ways to play and compare their PvZ prowess with friends – and now they can do that for the first time!”

Today Electronic Arts has confirmed (via Facebook) that it will be showing off Fifa 14, at the Xbox Reveal tomorrow at 6pm BST. Electronic Arts confirmed development of next-gen takes on Madden, FIFA, and its other sports properties, but stopped short of specifying when we’d see them firsthand.
The newest rumour for tomorrows Microsoft event will unveil its IllumiRoom projection technology as part of tomorrow night’s Xbox 720 according to a new rumour.
Blogger Paul Thurrott states that the tech IllumiRoom will be shown, while also stating that Microsoft has scrapped plans for a subscription-based Xbox 720 model.

Ubisoft has announced that Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be available on Wednesday, May 22nd, £11.99 on the PlayStation Network and Windows PC and 1200 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE for Xbox 360.

Ubisoft have managed to declassify a co-op trailer for their forthcoming game Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist offers two player CO OP mode with 4 mission types, 14 maps with 2 player split-screen.
Play as Sam Fisher or Isaac Briggs (a CIA operative) and work as a duo : help your teammate access parts of the maps you couldn’t access on your own, create your own tactics depending on your Play Style and watch each other’s back as you complete missions.

Ubisoft have just announced some special unlockable content for Watch Dogs if you pre-order it from GameStop or Amazon.com.
Players who pre-order Watch Dogs at GameStop stores across North America will receive a single player mission, The Palace Pack, which includes an investigation bonus and ATM hack boost. The investigation bonus will unlock exclusive investigation opportunities inside of the network and the ATM hack boost will increase cash rewards when hacking into bank accounts. In addition to the single player Palace Pack mission, players who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive poster designed by famed comic-book artist, Alex Ross – while supplies last.
For pre-orders on Amazon.com, players will receive the Signature Shot Pack which comes with an exclusive single player mission that once completed, unlocks both a unique Biometric Assault Rifle and the Black Viceroy’s Outfit. The biometrics weapon has been smuggled into Chicago for the captain of the Black Viceroy’s gang. The weapon only works for the first person to imprint their palm on the handle. Players will need to breach a stronghold, steal the package and be the first to imprint the weapon and get out of The Wards alive.

Watch Dogs will be available in North America on November 19 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, the WiiU and Windows PC, as well as at the launch of the PlayStation 4 from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE). The game is also planned for other next generation consoles.
