Featuring music performed courtesy of Nintendo, Symphonic Legends London takes concertgoers on an unforgettable journey through some of The Legend of Zelda’s best-loved themes. With new and revised scores by renowned video game arrangers, Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo, Symphonic Legends London squeezes every last musical drop of action, adventure, romance, heartbreak and heroics from soundtracks to games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The concert also features the world premiere of a brand new Overture of music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, sending listeners’ imagination soaring to the skies and beyond.

Adding to the excitement, Symphonic Legends London boasts an unprecedented ensemble of musicians and singers on stage for a video game concert. Joining the world famous London Symphony Orchestra – returning to the world of video games following the success of the sell-out, Final Symphony concert in May 2013 – will be the majestic London Symphony Chorus. Encompassing well over 200 musicians and choristers, Symphonic Legends London brings the power and majesty of The Legend of Zelda series to musical life in emphatic style.

Symphonic Legends London is being developed by the award winning Merregnon Studios, the world’s leading video game concert production company. With over 10 years of experience in the genre, Merregnon Studios helped debut the first ever orchestral performance of music from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in Germany in 2003, as well as being the first company ever to work with the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra on a video game concert.

“We’re so excited to be working with the London Symphony Orchestra on a video game concert again,” said Thomas Böcker, Producer of Symphonic Legends London. “Performing together with the London Symphony Chorus, it will be an unforgettable night for everybody, whether you’re a keen The Legend of Zelda fan or simply a lover of amazing music.”

“Working on our first video game concert earlier this year was a fantastically exciting experience,” added, Gareth Davies, Principle Flautist with the LSO. “The fans who attended the Final Symphony concert were one of the most attentive audiences I’ve ever played for and it is a delight to be playing Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo’s superb arrangements again.”

Tickets for the July 13th concert will be on sale starting tomorrow 10 AM and range in price from £30 to £85. To book tickets please visit the official concert site: http://www.symphoniclegends.com/

The Elders Scrolls Online date

Bethesda has also released a new gameplay trailer, which highlights the game’s “massive PvP system allowing hundreds of players to fight together, and against one another, in a quest to claim the Ruby Throne.”

“Game development is coming along very well,” said game director Matt Firor in a new blog posted on the official Elder Scrolls Online site.

“We completed major systems development, and are focusing on making this the Elder Scrolls game you expect: polishing the hundreds and hundreds of hours of content, making combat even more fun and responsive, fixing quest issues, and much, much more.”

The blog post also explains why the console versions will be released two months later, Firor said: “Worldwide demand for The Elder Scrolls Online is extraordinarily high. This means we need to do a staggered rollout of the different versions of the game to spread out the initial service load and ensure an enjoyable, smooth gameplay experience.

“It is not only a game we are launching – it is a large online service as well, and our number one priority is to ensure a trouble-free, stable rollout for everyone.”

AAF Reinforcements Pack for Arma 3

0

Bohemia Interactive today released the (free) AAF Reinforcements Pack for Arma 3. Supplied via an automatic update on Steam, the package includes a variety of new sandbox content, among which three new vehicles: the FV-720 Mora IFV, the MBT-52 Kuma tank, and the Wy-55 Hellcat helicopter.

The FV-720 Mora is an infantry fighting vehicle used by the AAF. They were bought by the AAF from the British Armed Forces and reconditioned to serve two more decades. The Mora is armed with a 30mm cannon and a coaxial machinegun, providing not only a carrying capacity, but also reliable fire support.

The MBT-52 Kuma is the main battle tank used by Altian Armed Forces. A batch of a few dozen tanks and spare turrets were bought under-price from a south-European country facing an economic collapse. Like similar MBTs of the era, the Kuma is armed with a 120mm cannon, a 7.62mm coaxial machinegun and a remotely controlled 12.7mm HMG. The level of protection for the crew is also remarkable, thanks to additional armour layers.

The Wy-55 Hellcat is a multi-purpose military helicopter, most suited for anti-surface, battlefield utility with limited transport capability. It replaces its predecessor the Super Lynx, improving the manoeuvrability, durability and protection. The armed version is fitted with twin miniguns and unguided rockets.

Aside the new vehicles, the AAF Reinforcements Pack also includes other sandbox content, such as the LRPS sniper scope, infra-red grenades, and black versions of the MX rifle family. The complete changelog can be found on Arma 3’s official website.

People can purchase the Arma 3 (44.99 EUR/39.99 GBP/59.99 USD) or the Arma 3 Digital Deluxe Edition (49.99 EUR/42.99 GBP/64.99 USD) from Steam and Store.bistudio.com.

Tiny Brains is the brainchild of Spearhead Games, an independent studio of AAA veterans based out of Montreal. A next generation party game, Tiny Brains redefines “co-op” by challenging players to work together as one as one of four tiny (but super-powered!) lab animals. Thrown into a gauntlet of physics puzzles, the four “Tiny Brains” must combine their unique abilities to make it through a mad scientist’s trick-ridden maze. Featuring a story mode, dozens of time-based and endless challenges, and a few surprises like the competitive “Tiny Soccer” mode, Tiny Brains is the most superhero fun you can have on a miniature scale.
Designed with local co-op as a gold standard, Tiny Brains also features online multiplayer and drop-in/drop-out play for groups tinier than four. Players can swap in between characters to utilize their different powers and levels change dynamically based on how many people are playing. Unique to the PlayStation 4, Tiny Brains makes use of the DualShock 4 light bar so that each controller shines the same color as the player’s character.

Using the touch pad, players can also bring down a coloured arrow to indicate where they require a furry friend’s help.
