Logitech has today announced its first products under the new Logi brand with the BLOK family for iPad – the cases that are made to be dropped. The BLOK range is designed to be completely “life-proof” – able to withstand drops up to 1.8 meters high and even onto surfaces as hard as concrete.
and the Logi BLOK Protective Keyboard Case, all of which are available for iPad Air 2 with the Shell also available for all versions of the iPad Mini.

KOEI TECMO EUROPE has announced the release of DECEPTION IV: the Nightmare Princess on the PlayStation 4, and digitally on the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita this Friday, 17th July 2015.
This will be the debut for the Deception series on the PlayStation 4, and it includes the entire content of Deception IV: Blood Ties plus a new Quest Mode involving a brand new character, Velguirie, and her rise to power through one hundred missions and three new stages.
In addition to Laegrinna (the protagonist of ‘Blood Ties’) and Velguirie, there will be appearances from the protagonists of previous titles in the Deception series. The three other princesses are:
Millennia, the Clockwork Princess, who has more stamina than the other characters and the power to use traps in rapid succession;
Allura, the Branded Princess, who can automatically recover her stamina and use defensive abilities such as Recovery and Shock Wave;
and Reina, the Tragic Princess, who has the unique ability to slow time and dodge enemy attacks;
Although they initially appear as enemies, they can be defeated in such a way that will allow the player to add them to the list of playable characters and use their unique powers to create even more entertaining scenarios!
For those who would like an early taste of what this highly entertaining trap action title has to offer, there is a downloadable Demo available on the PlayStation Network Store free of charge, including the first two chapters of the Story Mode (with a detailed tutorial designed to teach new players how to maneuver their character, and set and activate traps) and 12 brand new Quests. To better illustrate what the gameplay would be like on higher levels, some features have been unlocked early. These include the ability to create 7-trap-long combo sequences, as well as some of Velguirie’s unique powers (Kick and Dash). Due to the fact that the Demo is tweaked to showcase a leveled up character in the initial Quests, save data from the Demo will not be transferable to the final game upon release. However, for those that would like to show off their combos, PS4 Share functionality will be enabled!
Lastly, pre-orders will be running until launch on Friday 17th July, offering a DLC selection of unique traps! GAME pre-orders come with a ‘Grill’ trap- essentially a fire-walking pit that will cause enemies to quickly tip toe across (that is, if they land on it feet first). Independent retailers (through Centresoft) will offer a ‘Kick-Off’ trap- a mechanical apparatus that kicks high speed footballs in the direction of the player’s adversaries. The PlayStation Network will offer a ‘Golden Horse’ trap which takes its victims on an agonising and humiliating ride they will never forget. Finally, pre-order through the retailer ShopTo.net is lavishly accompanied by a ‘Golden Toilet’ – a trap that shows up from the floor under the unsuspecting victim’s legs, only to catapult them in the air with a jet of water!
Today Activision has launched the PROTOTYPEBIOHAZARD BUNDLE, a collection containing the breakout third-person action-adventure games PROTOTYPE and PROTOTYPE 2.
It now available on Xbox One, through the Xbox Games Store. It will be arriving as a digital download on the PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store on Wednesday 22nd July in Europe.

Zen Studios has today released their second table of 2015 based on a Marvel Studios blockbuster film, this one based on Marvel’s Ant-Man!. To get people excited for this fantastic new table, Zen Studios has also released an new trailer.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has today announced the call for entries for the British Academy Games Awards in 2016. The prestigious annual ceremony recognises and rewards the very best in games of the past year.
The 18 categories of the Awards encompass every element of games and highlight the accomplishments of the games industry over the past 12 months. Any game released in the UK is eligible to enter multiple categories within the Awards, a full list of which can be found on the BAFTA website,http://www.bafta.org/games/awards
Ensuring entry to the Awards remains accessible to all, developers and publishers may submit one free entry in the month of the game’s UK release. Games must have a release date between 1 January and 31 December 2015. The entry deadline is 9 December 2015.

An all-star roster of actors has joined new action adventure Suicide Squad, bringing DC Comics’ super villain team to the big screen under the direction of David Ayer (“Fury”).
The film will star two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith (“The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Ali,” “Focus”) as Deadshot; Joel Kinnaman (“Run All Night”, “Robocop”) as Rick Flagg; Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Focus,” upcoming the “Tarzan” movie) as Harley Quinn; Oscar winner Jared Leto (“Dallas Buyers Club,” “Alexander”) as the Joker; Jai Courtney (“Divergent,” “The Water Diviner”) as Boomerang; and Cara Delevingne (“Anna Karenina,” upcoming “Pan”) as Enchantress.

Today tragedy has hit the whole video game world, as Nintendo has confirmed that president Satoru Iwata has died. Nintendo has issued a statement explaining that Iwata passed due to a bile duct growth.
“Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth.”
The news come as a surprise considering how healthy Iwata-san looked during Nintendo’s E3 2015 digital event. It appears he may not have been as healthy as we all would have guessed, especially after he had to skip E3 2014 due to an undisclosed health issue at the time and had surgery to remove a growth later that year.
Nintendo has yet to mention who Iwata-san’s successor will be, although both senior managing director Genyo Takeda and legendary game designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto currently appear to be taking control of the company for the time being.
When Iwata-san first joined Nintendo back in 1983 where he helped create some of the company’s most legendary titles and series, like Earthbound and some of the early Kirby games. He then went on to become Nintendo’s corporate planner in 2000, moving on to lead the company in 2002 and becoming the first to do so outside of the Yamauchi family.
Under Satoru Iwata leadership, Nintendo went on to develop the GameCube, DS, Wii, 3DS, and Wii U, and slowly but surely, helping shape the future of gaming. Both the DS and 3DS have dominated over the years, cementing the company’s dominance in the handhelds industry.
Over the weekend at this years San Diego Comic-Con 2015, new extended trailer was shown for the first time. “The Man from U.N.C.L.E. staring Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel”) stars as Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) as IllyaKuryakin in director Guy Ritchie’s “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” a fresh take on the hugely popular 1960s television series.
Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe. “The Man from U.N.C.L.E” also stars Alicia Vikander (“Anna Karenina”), Elizabeth Debicki (“The Great Gatsby”), with Jared Harris (“Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows”), and Hugh Grant as Waverly.
The screenplay was written by Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, who previously collaborated on re-imagining the classic detective Sherlock Holmes in two hit films. The story is by Jeff Kleeman & David Campbell Wilson and Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, based on the television series “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

AMC announced at Comic-Con that the worldwide premiere of “Fear the Walking Dead” will air Sunday, August 23rd at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The extended episode will also debut on AMC Global channels around the world simultaneously with the U.S. premiere on AMC and will then re-air in local time zones during primetime, and in the UK it will be aired shortly afterwards.
