Following Gal Gadot herself teasing the release of the first official trailer for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ during the CCXP Convention in Brazil, today we now get our first real look at the film:
Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah. With director Patty Jenkins back at the helm and Gal Gadot returning in the title role, “Wonder Woman 1984” is Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the DC Super Hero’s first outing, 2017’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office.
The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.
New Character posters have also been revealed today as well highlighting Maxwell Lord, Cheetah and a returning Steve Trevor.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to launch in cinemas June 5th 2020.
My Thoughts…
Loving the new setting of 1984, means we do not have to have the elephant in the room of the failed Justice League plan. Sequel definitely very action focused which suits Wonder Woman as a character, loving the use of Maxwell Lord casted brilliantly with Predro Pascal, a villain with the ability to mind control people and heroes and not getting to see Kristen Wigg as Cheetah just yet, with fans still hoping to see the human cheetah look in the film as well as a returning Chris Pine as Steve Trevor with a very nice juxtaposition with Diana now bringing him up to date with the a new world that is unfamiliar to him whilst still not explaining how he is back from the dead.
Gal Gadot still commands the attention of the audience with just her presence on screen, the costume has more traditional bright red and blue to it over the more restrained colours of the original film and yeah, Wonder Woman using the Lasso of Truth to rope swing on Lightning Bolts….Zeus playing a part maybe going by the full golden armour she is wearing for probably what is the final fight against Lord?

Featuring the long-awaited debut of the fourth and final horseman – STRIFE, plus two-player co-op mode, Darksiders Genesis is the first Darksiders action adventure played from the top-down perspective and is now available worldwide (SRP: $29.99, €29.99, £26.99 | Stadia SRP: $39.99, €39.99, £34.99.)
In Darksiders Genesis, STRIFE can battle alongside his brother and fellow horseman WAR in the first ever Darksiders two-player co-op mode. Solo players will be able to alternate between STRIFE and WAR on the fly, taking advantage of STRIFE’s ranged and WAR’s melee style attacks. In addition, gameplay includes combat atop both horsemen’s fabled steeds: RAMPAGE and MAYHEM. Feral Interactive has announced that Alien: Isolation, the AAA survival horror game, is out now on Nintendo Switch. The second free title update for the acclaimed Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion is now available with even more free content, including a subspecies for fan-favorite Zinogre, a tempered Elder Dragon and a brand new region for the Guiding Lands area. In an accompanying developer update video, the Monster Hunter team shared these details and offered information on new Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds collaboration quests for PS4 players, new gameplay additions and upcoming in-game seasonal events.
New Challenges Await
Fan-favorite Zinogre originally charged into Iceborne with its electrifying attacks, and now a more vicious variant awaits. Stygian Zinogre harnesses dragon elemental instead of lightning this time around, so brave hunters will need to bring their Master Rank skills and strategize their approach in order to defeat this amped up beast. Those who are victorious will be rewarded with valuable materials to craft new and powerful equipment designed with an intimidating black and red palette.
A new Tundra Region expands the Guiding Lands end-game locale further with a snowy landscape that’s home to bone-chilling monsters such as Barioth and Viper Tobi-Kadachi. As an added incentive, special materials exclusive to the Tundra Region can be used to increase the maximum level for weapon augmentation. On top of Stygian Zinogre and the Tundra Region, a tempered Elder Dragon is also being added to challenge hunters – Tempered Ruiner Nergigante.
Defender Weapons
For console hunters making their way through the main story in Monster Hunter: World, new Defender Weapons for all 14 weapon types are now available as part of the latest update. The weapons can be easily forged at the Smithy and are upgradable, becoming even more valuable for those currently playing World. Combined with the Guardian Armor set and the community-focused Hunter Helper feature, newer players can look forward to getting through World quickly and accessing the massive content that Icebornehas to offers.
More Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Collaboration Quests on PS4 On the Way
The second round of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds collaboration quests for Iceborne will be available from 4pm PT on December 12 / 12am GMT on December 13. Players will get a chance to craft all-new themed equipment fashioned after the Shield-Weaver armor in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, and upgrade the Stormslinger weapon from the previous November quest. Palico companions can get special gear designed after Frostclaws, bear-like machines found in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Plus, a third round of exclusive collaboration quests for PS4 players will be available from 4pm PT on December 26 / 12am GMT on December 27. This new event quest will reward players with special materials to craft the new Banuk α+ armor set. Iceborne players will also get an opportunity to upgrade Aloy’s Bow and craft a new Felyne Watcher equipment, which were originally available in Monster Hunter: World, with Master Rank level stats.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One, featuring the new Battle Pass as well as the largest free content offering in Call of Duty history, is available now. Starting today with Season One, players across all platforms can jump in together to play new multiplayer maps, modes, co-op experiences, in-game events and more. In addition, the new Modern Warfare Battle Pass System gives players more ways to customise their experience by earning new content, including base weapons, weapon blueprints, weapon charms, and other vanity items just by playing the game.
The Season One Battle Pass can be purchased using Call of Duty Points unlocking access to up to 100 tiers of new earnable content. Plus, players who complete the Battle Pass will earn even more Call of Duty Points than the cost they paid for the pass itself, delivering a ton of value. Players can also purchase the Battle Pass Bundle which includes all the same earnable content plus 20 tier skips for instant access to cool new equipment.
“Since Modern Warfare’s launch it’s been great sharing a steady stream of new playable content, but today’s launch of Season One takes things to a new level for all players. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One features a slew of free new content, including the below, available for all players on all platforms. New content will be released weekly throughout Season One.
New Multiplayer Maps: Fan-favourite multiplayer map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Crash is remastered and reimagined as a helicopter crash site in Urzikstan, featuring all the flanking routes and action-packed rooftop encounters you remember. But, that’s not all. Joining Crash later in the season are two more reimagined maps from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, including Vacant, an abandoned office leading to intense interior combat across the complex, and Shipment, where fast and frenetic action reigns supreme.
New 2v2 Gunfight Maps: Jump into fast-paced, intense 2v2 matches on the new Atrium map set in a Verdansk palace, and the new Cargo map, an open-roof storage facility within the barge of a cargo container ship in the London Docks. In addition, Shipment will also be available as a 2v2 Gunfight map later in the season.
New Ground War Map: Engage in epic all-out war squaring off with 64 players on Port, a unique large-scale Ground War map set across cargo containers, cranes, buildings, and streets.
Classic Special Ops Experiences: In Pitch Black, infil into Barkov’s vacant estate to recover and transmit all on-site intel to your tactical rover. In Grounded, engage and eliminate Al Qatala militants who have seized Barkov’s former airbase to steal weaponry and air assets. Bomb Squad will arrive further into Season One, where Armistice Team 4 QRF must defuse IEDs planted in an Urzikstan city before detonation.
New Special Ops Operations: In Operation Strongbox, use the crypto keys you’ve stolen to assault the bank, break into the vault, and put The Banker out of business. In Operation Just Reward, coming to all players later in the season, cut off Al Qatala’s money supply in Verdansk and target the head of their financial operation by hacking the Banker’s mobile data centres.
New Multiplayer Game Modes: In Reinforce, a hybrid mode between Domination, Search & Destroy, and Search & Rescue, capture points to revive fallen teammates and take all points to win the round. Further into Season One, additional modes will go live including Infected, where it’s hunt or be hunted in the survival party game mode where eliminated survivors become infected. In O.S.P. Gunfight, the same mechanics of traditional Gunfight apply, with the distinct difference that players begin each match with no weapons or equipment and must pick them up once the match begins.
New Weapons: Earnable for free for all players, the RAM-7 introduces a new fully automatic bullpup Assault Rifle, while the Holger-26 is an LMG spec of the Holger model rifle.
The Season One Battle Pass can be purchased for 1,000 COD points or players can upgrade to the Battle Pass Bundle which includes 20 Tier Skips. Regardless of whether you choose to purchase your Battle Pass, some of the tiers will include free Call of Duty points that can be used in the store or for future Battle Pass purchases.
In addition to the Battle Pass, players can also use Call of Duty Points to obtain bundles of items in the store that will be updated weekly and contain multiple cosmetic items, ranging from weapon blueprints, a new Operator, operator skins, as well as various vanity accessories.
