Review: Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO

The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO from QPAD is an eye-catching, simple-to-use, but high-quality microphone for streamers and gamers. This fancy and vibrant option will look amazing on your desk or attached to a boom arm. Furthermore, the RGB acts as a guide for easy-to-understand usability.

This approach makes this the ideal choice if you want great audio quality without the complications. Moreover, you can adjust the polar patterns to deliver spectacular recordings no matter the setting. This may not make much sense if you are new to recording, streaming, or podcasting. However, a flexible approach is always a good thing.

What’s in the box of the Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO?

  • The packaging is compact, vibrant, and durable. Additionally, it can be recycled.
  • The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO is a small capsule microphone with a dial to adjust the polar patterns. Moreover, it has a robust desk mount, but it can be attached to a standard boom arm.
  • A USB-C cable is provided to power and connect the device.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO is remarkably easy to use. It reminded me of the Torch Microphone from ROCCAT. This was an impressive device and something I used regularly. However, I prefer the compact design of QPAD’s latest product. Additionally, I like the simple polar pattern switch, the RGB indicator, and the touch-to-mute button.

The combination of Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid, and Bidirectional recording options makes this a versatile peripheral. Moreover, the recording quality in each mode is fantastic. If you want a high-quality recording with a no-nonsense approach, this device should be on your radar.

Audio quality.

No matter which polar pattern you select, the recording quality is impressive. 24-bit/90 kHz audio resolution and a 14 mm condenser capsule microphone capture every tonal range. Whether it is high notes or a booming bass line, this device captures and clearly records every moment.

When you have a complex audio situation, the Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO doesn’t let you down. I tested this on a group podcast, and the result was impressive. The conversation wasn’t blown out or distorted. Instead, I could hear every word with ease. Finally, it does a great job of reducing unwanted background noises. Although it can’t mitigate every external sound, it does an impressive job.

Build quality.

The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO combines high-quality plastic with metal elements for a strong and stable device. The stand has a matte black finish and is reasonably heavy. The base must be screwed into the body, and this creates an element of versatility. If you have a standard boom arm, you can ignore the base and attach it to your boom arm instead.

The plastic elements are strong while being designed to resist marks and stains. The RGB is housed within the microphone body, and this creates a delightful lighting effect. The RGB can be altered, and this can be done without the use of PC software.

I love tactile switches and buttons. Thankfully, the key components are all tactile, and this reduces the risk of issues when muting your device or changing polar patterns. The chunky dial is easy to find and simple to use. Additionally, the top-mounted switch is placed perfectly to maintain the sleek and professional appearance.

Is the Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO worth it?

I’ve tested many fantastic microphones. The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO is a great device that offers impressive voice recording. Furthermore, it handles complicated situations like a champ. Although it won’t stand up against the top-end options, this is an extremely good entry-level product at a very good price. Accordingly, it is great, and I recommend buying it here!

Review: RT75 Pro keyboard

The RT75 Pro keyboard from YUNZII is a compact peripheral that is perfect for competitive gamers. Furthermore, if you work from home or you commute, this 75% form factor device can fit in your bag and is comfortable to use. Available in 2 colourways, there is a style for you. I opted for the black body with 4 clear purple keycaps. Alternatively, you can pick a vibrant pink option.

This tri-mode device is ideal if you desire a versatile product. Additionally, it is phenomenal if you need lightning-fast polling rates. 8K polling and 128K scan rates help users to react to the most challenging of situations. If you love FPS games, this has many key features. Rapid trigger response and N-Key rollover are the highlights of the bunch. Consequently, this is perfect if you want to hit the top of any leaderboard.

What’s in the box of the RT75 Pro keyboard?

  • The packaging has a vibrant, alluring, and professional edge. Moreover, most of it can be recycled.
  • The RT75 Pro keyboard is a small keyboard with a media knob. It has streamlined but tactile switches and a handy hook for a lanyard. This colour-matched item lets you carry the keyboard without issue.
  • A purple lanyard adds a level of security when moving the device.
  • Spare switches and keycaps are provided.
  • Use the pulling tool to remove the keycaps.
  • Power and charge the keyboard with the USB-C cable.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

The RT75 Pro keyboard is a tri-mode device that allows up to 3 Bluetooth profiles. This is perfect if you flit between devices and need a seamless transition. Although BT isn’t my go-to option, it was easy to use and simple to set up. I used the wired connection because I do not mind cable management. However, if you need a clean desk, the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle retains the scan and polling rates of its wired counterpart.

8K polling and 128K scan rates deliver rapid inputs for the tightest of situations. Whether you are playing an FPS or a racing game, this keyboard keeps you in tip-top condition. If you are playing wirelessly, you’ll be concerned about battery life. Thankfully, the 8000 mAh battery capacity offers over 27 hours of RGB-lit gaming. Alternatively, if you switch the lights off, you’ll get around 400 hours. Subsequently, you can enjoy marathon gaming sessions.

Usability

This device is suitable for use with PC, MAC, and compatible gaming consoles. This versatility impressed me as the customisable software and online features work no matter your platform. If you love to edit macros, adjust your lighting, add a music lighting effect, or remap your keys, the RT75 Pro keyboard’s software is user-friendly and a joy to use.

The media knob is suitable for an array of tasks. Accordingly, I love the simplicity of using my keyboard instead of scrolling through the settings. This tactile button allows users to pause media, change the volume, adjust settings, skip tracks, and much more. Although it isn’t a new idea, I love the rudimentary design.

Build quality.

Unlike other mechanical keyboards, the RT75 Pro keyboard uses Hall Effect magnetic switches for increased accuracy, response rates, and durability. Although these switches can only be swapped with like-for-like switches, I adore using them for gaming and typing. The comfortable actuation distance offers low-fatigue typing and pinpoint accuracy. Moreover, they will last a lifetime!

The case combines metal and plastic to deliver a hard-wearing product. The clean black finish is perfect for a discreet gamer. Additionally, the purple keycaps add a layer of flair without being obnoxious. The south-facing RGB lighting is perfect if you want to add a stunning light design to your gaming rig. It can be adjusted with ease, and you can make the lights react to the action on your screen. This was brilliant as it adds drama and an immersive edge to your entertainment area.

If you love familiar and comfortable typing, the double-shot PBT cherry profile keycaps are great to use. These robust keycaps resist stains and that awful wear and tear, shining. Furthermore, the fonts will retain their vibrancy for longer. Finally, the keyboard is designed with 5 layers of acoustic dampening material. This creates a delightful audio platform for that perfect mechanical sound.

Is the RT75 Pro keyboard worth it?

This compact keyboard allows gamers to feel connected with every game they are playing. Not only is the lighting fantastic, but the rapid polling rates, impressive FPS features, and comfortable typing profile let you game for hours. Accordingly, it’s an amazing device, and I recommend buying it here!

Review: The House of the Dead 2: Remake

House of the Dead 2: Remake made me desire more of the rail-type shooters to be released. This classic arcade approach was a staple for many older gamers. Furthermore, the ridiculous stories, awful acting, and usually brutal gameplay made everything just a little amusing and very challenging. However, we have to wait for remakes, remasters, and anything in between to get our fill.

This arcade classic was developed by Megapixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment. It is a single-player and couch cooperative experience. The latter is where this shines, but I adored the madness when going it alone. The visuals have had a nice polish, and the audio is as mental as always. Accordingly, it has that appealing modern and retro edge.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake tells a horrific story.

Zombies aren’t renowned for their friendly ways. No matter how much you try to converse with them, they want to munch on your brains. Unsurprisingly, this is exactly what happens in this remake. It tells the original story with pinpoint accuracy.

AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart are deployed to deal with strange occurrences in a small town. It has been 2 years since the last incident, and the agents must use their skills if they are to stay alive and save the day.

Familiar action.

Although this does little to break the mould, I adore The House of the Dead 2: Remake. The clunky gameplay, hellish zombies, unfair odds, and mindless action were great. Furthermore, saving every person, finding every secret, and testing your accuracy was a blast.

This really excels when playing it with a friend. Challenging one another and defeating every monster was great. Additionally, it adds to the retro vibes.

This remake has 3 game modes to tackle. There is the classic story and arcade version of it. Both are very similar, and they don’t stray too far off the beaten track. The boss mode does exactly what it says on the tin. Finally, you can brush up on your skills in the tutorial mode. If you have played any game from this genre, none of these modes will surprise you. Consequently, this is perfect for veterans and newcomers.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is delightfully rough.

The developer has done a nice job with the visuals. Although there is a bit of modern polish, it retains that dated appeal and rough edges. This was ideal as I’d have hated to see it pushed too far into the modern mindset. Instead, the hideous zombies, rough backdrops, and gory moments look incredible.

The audio is as ridiculous as ever! The acting is gloriously wooden, and the sound effects and music are as crass as always. The result is a loud and uncomfortable game that reminded me of my youth.

The ugly side of the game.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a pig to play. Despite all of the positives, the controls are pretty shite. This was disappointing as accuracy and quick reactions are everything. This may not be an issue with a mouse and keyboard, but a gamepad really suffers.

Replay value and longevity aren’t great either. Once you smash through the story and you’ve saved everyone, there is little reason to return. Yes, you can keep playing it with friends, but local-only gameplay reduces this appeal. Subsequently, replay value is sadly limited.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a great walk down memory lane.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a great game. However, its audience will be niche, and I’m not sure younger gamers will enjoy the madness. There is a reason this genre is dying, and unfortunately, this remake will feel the full force of current desires. Accordingly, it won’t be as popular as it should be, but I recommend buying it here! Can you complete your investigation and survive? Grab your gun, rescue everyone, and become a hero.

Review: Storm Lancers

Storm Lancers is a metroidvania-inspired 2D roguelite platformer that allows players to team up in local co-op. Developed and published by ProbablyMonsters, Storm Lancers was first released for the Nintendo Switch on September 12th, 2025, with a later release for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on December 9th, 2025. Through five worlds, players hack and shoot through a variety of enemies, such as alien creatures and robots. Different weapons will be at your disposal, allowing for a semi-unique run each time. An in-game resource called crythium can be used to purchase permanent passive upgrades. Along with these, players gain new maneuvers with every stage, allowing for more movement in combat.

Storm Lancers feels like it was made with two things in mind: local co-op and a beginner friendly experience. Playing with roguelite experience and in single player, I still had some fun. However, I quickly picked up on combat abilities and enemy movement patterns. When this happened, the game began to feel a bit stale and was not a long experience overall. Experienced roguelite/platformer players such as myself might breeze through gameplay. However, they could still have a lot of fun playing with a friend, partner, or even child that is inexperienced and needs a helping hand. With local co op and many online game sharing features, such as Steam Remote Play Together and Nintendo Game Share, I believe that its best played with a teammate. So, keep an eye open for high cost chests, because its time to discuss Storm Lancers!

The Story & Characters: Saving Reality, Cryptica, and Yourselves

After your crash on the alien world of Cryptica, Stormhearts—tiny blue, fox‑like creatures—bring you and your teammate back to life. Players later learn that reality is on the brink of collapse due to powerful magic on the planet. Together, you must venture through the five different worlds to save the planet, taking down some alien or robotic creatures and bosses along the way. Players can wake up some friends in cryosleep back on the ship to assist them, as well as purchasing upgrades from some friendly aliens.

When it comes to the story, that’s about it. It isn’t complicated or detailed, but it does its job at giving a ‘why’ for our character’s motivation. It’s a simple story with you, the players, as its hero. Little tidbits here and there help give more lore, such as the captain who mysteriously disappeared from the ship or the various dialogues from alien vendors. More story would be nice of course, but it’s something I’m willing to see past for now.

On the ship, the three friends you can wake from cryosleep are Romero, Stats, and Ellara. Romero is the ship’s tailer and oversees the few outfits you can equip. Stats takes charge of the players statistics. Ellara, probably the most useful of the three, offers challenges for players to accomplish in order to gain more crythium. Players must complete specific goals first in order to wake up these ship members.

The Gameplay Part 1: The Basics are Good

There are a few key aspects when it comes to Storm Lancers‘ gameplay. First and foremost is probably the variety of weapons. Players have two main weapons, melee and ranged, and a slot for an equippable item. Melee weapons include greatswords, axes, and my personal favorite, whips. Ranged weapons include snipers, breechloaders, and ion marbles. Equippable items can be health items and various tools such as the ability to shoot fireballs or put down traps. You typically pick up these items by cracking open chests spread across the stages. Weapons with higher rarity do more damage, but also cost more. A chest’s price can help determine a weapon’s rarity. Players can buy other chests to obtain equippable items and Storm Bindings. Storm Bindings are passive effects that boost and hinder players. Players can also buy some items at the shops near the end of each stage.

During runs, you can gather a resource called crythium by taking down elite enemies, identifiable by their red crowns, and bosses. Players use Crythium to unlock Soul Etchings—permanent upgrades that persist from run to run. These upgrades include things like higher starting currency, having better luck in finding more rare weapons, having a larger health pool and even the ability to revive. Nothing here feels super out of the ordinary when it comes to roguelites that have permanent upgrades, but its a system that I enjoy. I like being able to do a little better each time with the assistance of permanent upgrades to work towards obtaining. The maneuver abilities you gain also exist throughout runs. When you complete a stage for the first time, you gain a new movement skill, such as sliding and double jumping. These help with making combat and movement feel much smoother.

The Gameplay Part 2: The Rest is Not as Good

Despite the game’s steam page stating that the biomes are ever-shifting, I can’t say this is something I noticed while playing. Small things are different, such as chest or enemy placements. Beyond that, if there any changes to the stage’s layout, I didn’t notice. This played a hand in making the game feel lackluster. Also, the actual platforming felt a bit clunky at times. Before being able to double jump, I would stand under a ledge and my character just wouldn’t grab onto it until the third/fourth try. Combat movement, although smoother after a few upgrades, still feels a bit simple. Along with this simplicity were the boss fights. They had simple, easily predictable movements that made them feel more like meat shields rather than a challenge.

The enemies you come across are just okay. Though I like that many of them have their own unique attacks, they become a bit too easy to avoid once you get the hang of things. I would simply slide back and forth swinging my weapon as I pass through them and dodge any attack they could throw at me. Once you have a decent weapon, you can just one shot most of them.

I also think that some ranged weapons were a bit too strong which made the game even easier. If you can manage to get a gun with decent rarity, you don’t really need the melee one. There is no ammo or even a long cooldown between shots. The incentive to open chests goes away and at that point, I’m just looking for the exit to the next stage. This doesn’t feel like what ProbablyMonsters had in mind for their gameplay. I can appreciate the game’s simplicity, but I can’t help but feel a bit bored by it too.

The Graphics & Audio: Just Okay

As the subheading title states, both the graphics and the audio are just okay. Graphically, the game takes on an anime/cartoon approach. I don’t hate this and I think it works well for the game’s style, but I do think things could look a little better. The biomes aren’t really impressive in how they look. The same applies to the enemy designs. In the first two worlds, players mostly fight against these alien dog-like creatures. There are three different kinds of them, but they really just look like reshades with small changes. Weapons looked a bit better in that they all looked unique and their were some visual effect elements that looked cool too. Overall though, there was nothing graphically that wowed me in some way.

A similar thing could be said with the game’s audio. Any audio elements were just okay and none of it felt bad or necessarily all that great either. The original sound track can be purchased as an add on for Steam, though I’m not too sure why. It sounded like rather simple combat music and not something I would jam out to. Perhaps though, this is just my own opinion as I’m not the most musically inclined person.

The Conclusion: The Good, The Bad, and The Hopeful

I’d like to reiterate that Storm Lancers is made with co op in mind. My own experience and review could be biased in that I played only in single player. I do think this game could be a lot more fun in co op. Perhaps with one player having some roguelite experience and skills and the other player being more so a beginner. I could see myself asking my dad to play if this came out when I was a child. Being released on Nintendo Switch originally, it does lead me to believe that it is made with a younger audience in mind. The game’s overall simplicity could be easy for them to grasp and still might feel like a challenge for them to overcome. I am all for games appealing to younger generations so that the future of gamers continues to live on.

However, for players who have experience in roguelites and especially the ones playing in single player such as myself, I think the game is a bit too lackluster. Reasonably, a player like this could probably beat the game in less than 10 runs. I don’t believe there’s much afterwards beyond completing challenges. The game feels pretty barebones and there isn’t much to keep my attention. Like I said though, I don’t think I was the player in mind during development so I can’t fault them too much. If the game became more complex and added too much, things might feel a bit too complicated for a younger audience, at least now a days. Still, I can stay hopeful for the game’s success without needing to be a player myself.

Grab a friend, give it a whirl and thank you for reading!

Sihoo Doro C300 (review-style): what it’s like to live with an ergonomic chair for long desk days

0

A proper chair review isn’t about the first five minutes. It’s about the third hour, the fifth video call, and the moment you realise you’ve stopped fidgeting because you’re actually supported. The Sihoo Doro C300 is positioned as an ergonomic office chair built for modern routines — work, study, creative tasks, and the occasional evening wind-down at the same desk.

This is a practical, user-focused look at how the Doro C300 behaves in real use: comfort over time, adjustability, movement support, and the details that make (or break) long sessions.

First impressions: clean, office-friendly, not “gamer loud”

Visually, the Doro C300 leans towards a modern office aesthetic. The silhouette is tidy and professional, with a mesh-heavy look that feels lighter than bulky padded chairs. That matters if your chair sits in a living room, a shared workspace, or anywhere you don’t want an aggressive “gaming throne” vibe.

The overall feel is “purpose-built”: designed around support and airflow rather than plush thickness. If you’re used to cushy padding, mesh can feel different at first — but it often wins people over on longer days.

Comfort over time: the “hour three” test

The main question for any ergonomic chair is whether it stays comfortable as you shift and settle through the day. On the Doro C300, the standout concept is dynamic lumbar support — support that aims to remain engaged as your posture changes rather than only fitting one perfect position.

In practice, that matters most for people who don’t sit still: leaning in to type, sitting upright on calls, reclining briefly between tasks. The chair is designed to keep the lower back feeling “held” across those transitions, instead of forcing you to constantly readjust or hunt for the right spot.

Backrest & airflow: mesh done for long sessions

Breathability is a quiet quality until you don’t have it. On warm days — or during intense, no-break stretches — a chair that traps heat becomes distracting fast. The Doro C300’s mesh back and seat are aimed at keeping airflow consistent, which helps the chair feel more stable over long use rather than progressively uncomfortable.

The backrest also feels designed for “supported flexibility”: not rigid like a board, but not floppy either. It encourages small posture changes without making you feel unstable.

Armrests: the feature that can change your shoulders

If you’ve ever finished a day at the desk with a tight neck, there’s a decent chance your arms were doing too much work. Adjustable armrests help by letting your shoulders drop into a more relaxed position. The Doro C300 uses multi-direction armrests (often described as 4D), which means you can tune them to your desk height, keyboard position, and preferred posture.

The practical test is simple: can you type with relaxed shoulders and supported forearms? If the answer is yes, your upper body will usually thank you.

Head support: useful when you actually recline

Headrests are polarising because they’re only valuable if you use the recline. If you work leaned forward all day, you might barely notice it. But if you take short recovery moments — leaning back between tasks or during longer calls — a well-positioned headrest can be a genuine comfort upgrade.

Recline behaviour: does it encourage movement or punish it?

A chair that’s awkward to recline often leads to one thing: you stop moving. The Doro C300 is designed around a smoother recline experience, which makes it easier to add posture variation into the day: lean back, breathe, then return to work posture without feeling like you’re wrestling the mechanism.

If you’re trying to build better desk habits, this matters more than people expect. A chair that makes movement effortless tends to get used in a healthier way.

Seat feel: pressure distribution and the “edge” issue

A common discomfort point is the front edge of the seat digging into the thighs over time. Chairs that use a “waterfall” seat edge aim to reduce that pressure. On long sessions, it’s one of those details that can help a chair stay comfortable rather than becoming a distraction.

Combined with mesh, the seat is more about consistent feel than sink-in softness — a style many people prefer once they’ve spent a full workday on it.

Who it suits best

  • Remote workers doing long desk days and changing posture often
  • Students who sit for study blocks and need comfort that lasts
  • Creators switching between keyboard work, reading, editing and calls
  • Anyone who values airflow and dynamic support over thick padding

Who might want something different

  • People who strongly prefer a very soft, heavily padded “sofa-like” seat feel
  • Anyone who wants a chair mostly for lounging rather than desk work
  • Users with specific medical needs who require professional clinical guidance

Verdict: a strong everyday ergonomic option built around movement

The Sihoo Doro C300 is best understood as a chair for modern, mixed desk days: breathable mesh comfort, dynamic lumbar support, and adjustability that’s meant to be used. It won’t magically fix poor habits, but it can make long hours feel lighter and encourage posture variation — which is often the difference between “fine” and “actually comfortable”.

If you want to explore the official product information and Sihoo’s wider range, you can do so here:https://uk.sihoooffice.com/

Note: ergonomic furniture can improve everyday comfort, but it isn’t a medical device. If you have persistent pain or symptoms, speak with a qualified professional.

Review: QK108 keyboard

The QK108 keyboard from Epomaker is a full-size device that offers responsive gaming and typing. Furthermore, the comfortable cherry profile keycaps and smooth actuation help to reduce fatigue. Alongside this, it is built with performance and accuracy in mind.

If you are looking for an inexpensive but stylish peripheral, this should be considered. Available for under £90, this keyboard is great to use. Designed with 5 sound-dampening layers, it has a pleasant audio profile. Additionally, the south-facing RGB creates an impressive light display.

What’s in the box of the QK108 keyboard?

  • The packaging is large and informative. Furthermore, the contents are well protected.
  • The QK108 keyboard has 104 keys, customisable inputs, and vivid RGB. Moreover, it has a lightweight but durable case.
  • A keycap puller, spare keycaps, and switches are provided.
  • Power the device with the USB-C cable.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

This impressive item offers responsive gaming and typing. Moreover, it has Tri-Mode connectivity to increase versatility. If you play wired or wireless, you’ll enjoy 1000 Hz polling. Alternatively, if you use 1 of 3 Bluetooth profiles, it drops considerably to 125 Hz. Therefore, the latter option should be considered for non-demanding tasks.

If you play wirelessly, you’ll need an impressive battery life. Luckily, the QK108 keyboard has an 8000 mAh battery. This delivers days of undisturbed gaming. The total playtime varies based on RGB brightness, special effects, and other key elements. As such, if you wish to maximise your battery power, you’ll need to make some sacrifices. Wireless gamers can enjoy up to 229 hours of battery life. I played with a wired connection, so I never worried about running out of juice.

If shortcut media features and data screens are your thing, this keyboard has you covered. The media knob can be adjusted to match your needs. Moreover, the data screen enables you to stay on top of key performance measures. Although I didn’t follow this religiously, it was nice to have.

Usability.

If customising your device is a must, the QK108 keyboard will be a hit. This device has VIA support. Accordingly, users can input macros, adjust inputs, and play with many key features. Additionally, you can utilise the Epomaker software to adjust RGB and other core elements. As such, you can play with nearly every layer of this device.

The built-in data screen helps you to keep on top of key information. Furthermore, you may install custom images to add a little flair to the situation. If a custom image isn’t your thing, you can keep an eye on the performance of your PC.

Build quality.

Shiny keycaps, poor build quality, and a terrible audio profile can ruin your gaming experience. Luckily, the QK108 keyboard has considered these issues very carefully. This mechanical device has a pleasant and familiar clacky soundscape. Moreover, the 5 layers of sound-dampening material enhance depth while removing unwanted noises.

Glossy keycaps are ugly! Sweat, dirt, and other things make your keycaps shine. Luckily, the dye-sub PBT keycaps are durable and built to last. Moreover, this resists shining, and the fonts last a lifetime. If the provided keycaps or switches are not to your liking, they can be hot-swapped with ease. This enhances versatility while helping you get your perfect peripheral.

The hardened case has 3 points of adjustment for ultimate comfort. Furthermore, the cherry profile keycaps are pleasant to use. As such, this is the ideal device for lengthy gaming or typing sessions.

Is the QK108 keyboard worth it?

This full-size option is perfect if you have a decent desk. Additionally, the Tri-Mode connectivity and hot-swappable switches help to enhance versatility. The durable build quality, pleasant colourway, and long-lasting battery make this stand out from the crowd. Accordingly, I love it and recommend buying it here!

Review: Vibe108 keyboard

The Vibe108 keyboard from Mechlands is a full-size 1800 layout device with a media knob, customisable inputs, and vibrant RGB. Furthermore, this keyboard is aesthetically pleasing. There is a fine attention to detail that will be appreciated by the gaming community. Additionally, it has a pleasant actuation and comfortable typing profile.

On top of this, it is versatile. This triple-mode device allows users the ability to work via Bluetooth, wireless dongle, and USB-C cable. Moreover, there is an impressive 10,000 mAh battery to ensure that power is the last thing on your mind. If you like to play with settings, this keyboard has customisable hotkeys to suit your needs. Therefore, this could be the keyboard of your dreams.

What’s in the box of the Vibe108 keyboard?

  • The packaging is vibrant, large and strong. Additionally, it can be recycled.
  • The Vibe108 keyboard has a pleasant white and blue livery. This full-size device is perfect if you have a large workstation, and the tri-mode connectivity reduces wiring nightmares.
  • Pull the keycaps with the pulling tool.
  • Charge or power the keyboard with the USB-C cable.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

This 104-key peripheral utilises some impressive gaming tech. The highlight is the NKRO anti-ghost key feature. This registers every input to allow users to move seamlessly from one piece of cover to the next. Although it takes a little getting used to, it is great to use once you understand what you are doing.

The Vibe108 keyboard has impressive polling rates when connected via a cable or the wireless dongle. 1000 Hz of polling can be enjoyed through these connectivity modes. Alternatively, if you don’t mind 125 Hz, Bluetooth is a reliable and easy option. Furthermore, you can connect 3 devices for seamless transition between devices.

The large battery is one of the most impressive features of this peripheral. 10,000 mAh battery capacity offers huge gaming sessions or work sessions between charges. However, if you need to check your power levels or charge the device, this can be done with ease. The built-in south-facing RGB highlights your remaining battery power, and the fast charging keeps you in the game for longer.

Usability.

The Vibe108 keyboard is wonderfully versatile and easy to use. The hotkeys can be customised to create the perfect inputs for any game you are playing. Moreover, the aluminium media knob streamlines your approach. Instead of using on-screen settings and programs, this handy knob tackles multiple jobs from one location.

This dedicated media knob is ideal if you love to listen to music. Its functionality allows users to skip songs, select previous tracks, or pause their music. Additionally, you can raise or lower the volume or mute the action altogether. This is a handy tool that saves you time and energy.

The comfortable keycaps and impressive actuation make this keyboard a joy to use during marathon sessions. The pleasant switches are responsive and accurate. Accordingly, you will suffer no fatigue when typing or gaming for hours.

Build quality.

This keyboard offers durable and colour-matched materials for a strong and eye-catching product. The hardened plastic will endure some knocks and bumps as you lose yourself in each game. Additionally, the hard-wearing keycaps resist scratching and stains as you game for hours.

If hot-swapping your switches floats your boat, the Vibe108 keyboard has you covered. You may pull the factory-lubed switches and replace them with any compatible 3 or 5-pin option. However, I didn’t think this was necessary as the provided Mechlands Cream Mint Switch set was extremely comfortable to use.

The plastic case has multiple layers of sound-dampening acoustic layers to deliver that classic thocky mechanical sound. This helps to reduce harsh audio points while offering a rich and impressive soundscape.

Is the Vibe108 keyboard worth it?

Getting the right keyboard for your needs can be tough. Do you go for a smaller and more nimble option, or do you select a classic larger design? If you are looking for the latter, the Vibe108 keyboard should be on your radar. Not only does it look great, but I love the build quality, the comfortable switches, and the versatility. Accordingly, I think it’s great, and I recommend buying it here! Alternatively, you can purchase it from Amazon!

Best Pinoy Tongits App? These Three Make a Good Case

0

Asking what the best Pinoy Tongits app is in 2025 doesn’t lead to a single, definitive answer. Instead, it opens a conversation about how Filipinos play Tongits today.

Some approach the game as a quick mental exercise, others treat it as a social pastime, while a growing group sees it as a competitive challenge that rewards discipline and consistency.

Tongits has always been part of everyday Filipino life. It thrives in informal settings, played during breaks, family gatherings, or quiet evenings, where observation and timing matter as much as the cards themselves.

As mobile gaming continues to evolve, Tongits has transitioned smoothly into digital spaces without losing its identity.

Modern Tongits apps reflect changing play habits. Players no longer need extended sessions or fixed schedules.

Matches can be played in short bursts, resumed easily, or repeated for practice. Tutorials, AI opponents, and ranking systems now support both newcomers and experienced players.

Free-to-play access has also lowered the barrier to entry. Anyone with a smartphone can explore the game, learn its nuances, and gradually improve without upfront commitment.

At the same time, platforms with structured systems have emerged for players seeking a more organized experience.

Rather than declaring one universal winner, this guide highlights the leading Tongits platforms in 2025 and explains what each offers. The best choice depends on what you value most when you play.

Tongits Offline: Simple, Accessible, and Always Available

For players who prioritize convenience, Tongits Offline by Greenleaf Games remains one of the most visible Tongits apps on the Play Store. Its defining feature is clear: the game can be played without an internet connection, making it accessible anytime and anywhere.

Offline functionality makes the app particularly useful for commuters, travelers, and players with limited connectivity.

Matches are played against AI opponents, creating a stable environment where players can focus on understanding the game rather than reacting to unpredictable human behavior.

The app’s design supports this purpose. Controls are straightforward, menus are minimal, and tutorials guide new players through the fundamentals.

Beginners can learn at their own pace, while experienced players can repeatedly test strategies, study card flow, and refine decision-making.

Tongits Offline also removes competitive pressure. There are no rankings, social interactions, or time-based incentives demanding constant engagement.

This allows players to pause, restart, and analyze hands without distraction. For many, it functions as a practice ground before moving to live platforms.

While ads and limited progression systems are part of the experience, they don’t overshadow the core gameplay. The app’s reliability and simplicity explain why it continues to rank highly in downloads.

For casual players who value uninterrupted play above all else, Tongits Offline remains a dependable choice.

Tongits Go: The Most Popular Tongits App Among Filipinos

When popularity is the benchmark, Tongits Go consistently leads the conversation.

Its success comes from offering more than just Tongits; it delivers a complete social gaming environment that keeps players engaged over time.

Visually, Tongits Go is polished and approachable. The interface feels modern, navigation is smooth, and the overall presentation suggests frequent updates and active maintenance. Players can enter matches quickly without navigating complex systems.

Beyond Tongits, the app offers a wide selection of card and casual games.

Options such as Pusoy, Lucky 9, Poker, Pool, Mines, and Slots give players variety within a single platform. This flexibility helps reduce fatigue, especially during long sessions or losing streaks.

Social interaction is a major strength. Players can chat, join clubs, send gifts, and participate in events, recreating the communal feel of traditional play. These features transform the experience from a solitary activity into a shared one.

Progression systems, achievements, and recurring events provide motivation even for free-to-play users. Players feel encouraged to return without being pressured to spend.

For accessibility, variety, and community engagement, Tongits Go remains the most widely played and socially driven Tongits app in 2025.

Tongits Star: Competitive Play Built on Skill and Structure

Tongits Star is designed for players who approach Tongits with a competitive mindset. Instead of emphasizing variety, the platform focuses on balance, structure, and long-term improvement.

The app’s interface is clean and restrained, keeping attention on gameplay rather than visual effects. Controls respond smoothly, and the matching pacing allows players to think through decisions carefully.

This design supports strategic play rather than impulsive moves.

Leaderboards and ranking systems provide measurable goals. Advancement is tied to consistency and understanding of the game, reinforcing Tongits as a skill-based pursuit.

Players who invest time in observation, timing, and hand management are rewarded with steady progress.

Tongits Star also offers reward opportunities through selected events, including physical prizes.

These incentives add motivation while maintaining fairness, as success still depends on performance rather than spending.

For players who enjoy tracking improvement and competing within a clear framework, Tongits Star offers a disciplined environment. It appeals to those who want their Tongits sessions to feel purposeful and results-driven.

GameZone: A More Serious Tongits Experience

While free apps are ideal for learning and casual play, GameZone caters to players who want Tongits to carry more weight.

GameZone is a professionally managed platform offering real-time Tongits matches alongside other Filipino favorites such as Pusoy and Color Game. The focus is on fairness, stability, and consistency rather than quick rewards or visual spectacle.

What distinguishes GameZone is its structured approach. Matches take place within an organized system supported by reliable matchmaking and scheduled events. This gives players continuity between sessions and a clearer sense of progression.

Responsible gaming is central to the platform. Tools for managing deposits, setting playtime limits, and activating self-exclusion help ensure balanced participation. This reflects a mature approach to digital entertainment.

For experienced players, GameZone transforms Tongits from a casual pastime into a more deliberate pursuit. It doesn’t replace free apps but complements them by offering a destination for players ready to take the game seriously.

Review: Altas Camera

The Altas Camera from Reolink is one of their latest outdoor security products. This affordable option can be paired with a 6W solar panel for a hassle-free solution. Moreover, it has space for a micro SD card to ensure that you never miss any key events.

If this isn’t enough, this superb device offers incredible nighttime recording and an anti-glare feature to keep faces and car reg plates crisp and easy to see. Furthermore, it has a pre-recording facility to ensure that you don’t miss any of the action. Each of these features is essential and exactly what a homeowner wants when they are considering a security camera.

What’s in the box of the Altas Camera?

  • The packaging is simple but colourful. Moreover, every part is well packaged, and it can be recycled.
  • The Altas Camera is considerably heavy, but not as large as I expected. Each port is protected from poor weather, and the finish is clean and easy to look at.
  • A USB-C cable is provided.
  • Use the strap to keep things safe and tidy.
  • A safety bracket lets you mount the camera.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

The Altas Camera delivers 2560×1440 (4 megapixels) resolution via the 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor. The result is an incredible video recording of up to 15 FPS. Now, this may not seem that smooth or fast, but I cannot find fault with the clarity or picture quality. Additionally, I could watch the footage live or from the micro SD card without enduring poor video recording.

This camera offers an impressive field of view. Accordingly, you’ll capture a large working area to reduce the need for extra cameras. However, if you do own more than one Reolink product, you can seamlessly integrate this camera via the app or the Reolink hub. This is a superb design choice that allows users to have a fully digitally secure home where every valuable corner is covered.

ColorX Night Vision maximises the F1.0 aperture sensor to capture 2 times more light than other aperture sensors. The result is incredible nighttime vision without the need for spotlights, infrared, or other external light sources. This is particularly good when you are balancing battery life, solar charging, and usability.

The battery life is unbelievably good. I was provided with the Reolink Solar Panel 6W. This small extra delivers enough juice to ensure that your 20k mAh battery is fully charged. The battery life varies depending on what mode you select, the amount of sunlight you have, and other elements. I tested this in winter sun conditions, and I could take advantage of every feature without worrying. (Full tech breakdown of usability can be found on the Reolink website.)

The Reolink app.

The Reolink app is a goldmine of information, controls, and settings. This is the hub that lets you play with pre-recording, 2-way audio, and other key settings. Additionally, you can check the health of the Altas Camera and capture recordings as things go live. Unlike other cameras, there is no charge for this feature. This makes this camera and company stand out from its competitors.

The Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 offers a stable and simple wireless connection to maximise usability. I connected this to my home network with ease and could seamlessly flit from this camera to other Reolink products I have around my house. Checking a live feed was as easy as loading up the app, and keeping an eye on my pets as they ran wild in my garden was great to watch. Finally, our delivery people are fantastic, but parcels get dumped wherever they can, as my border collie loves to make a nuisance of himself. This camera network lets me keep an eye on my parcels when I’m out of the house.

AI motion detection.

The Altas Camera is an intelligent camera that uses AI to detect the images it sees. Vehicles, people, and animals can all activate the camera’s motion detection. Alternatively, the app allows you to pick up and mark the targets and areas you wish to record. Alongside this, the dual spotlights and siren activate if an intruder is detected. If you have your app handy, you can use the 2-way audio and the live footage to speak to the person to reduce risk to your property.

Build quality.

If you worry about outdoor electronics and inclement weather, you’ll be in a large majority. Luckily, the Altas Camera is designed to withstand some terrible weather conditions. This camera can operate in temperatures as low as -20 °C and up to 55 °C. Additionally, it is IP66 rated for rugged protection from wind, snow, sleet, and rain. The result is a hard-wearing device that keeps the footage rolling.

This device is easy to mount thanks to the security strap and wall mounting bracket. The solar panel can be mounted with ease, and the long cables ensure that you can maximise sunlight coverage. The hardened plastic on both products will withstand collisions, and the cables are protected and suitable for outdoor use.

Is the Altas Camera worth it?

If you want an environmentally friendly camera that delivers amazing recording quality and low power consumption, this is the product for you. Furthermore, this device uses a MicroSD card, Wi-Fi streaming, or the Reolink Hub for secure recording. On top of this, the security features are fantastic, and adding this camera to your Reolink set-up is a piece of cake. Accordingly, no matter your technical know-how, I recommend buying this device here!

Review: RT85 keyboard

I absolutely love anything from Epomaker! This company offer some of the best mechanical keyboards that money can buy. Furthermore, they have a fantastic range of gaming mice as well. As such, when they offered me the RT85 keyboard, I couldn’t resist. I’ve recently looked at the RT82 keyboard, and I adored it. As such, I had high hopes when this landed on my desk.

This compact device moves slightly away from the traditional RT series approach. Instead of a large data screen, this keyboard has a smaller built-in display. Although this isn’t as eye-catching as other devices from the series, I loved it nonetheless. On top of this, the keyboard has hot-swappable switches, incredible build quality, accurate inputs, and it is versatile.

The tri-mode connectivity is wonderful. Whether you work from home or you commute, this device has you covered. With a wireless, Bluetooth, and wired connection, this device will suit many gamers and workers. Furthermore, it is unbelievably easy to use. Accordingly, this is a plug-and-play peripheral that can be customised using the Epomaker software.

What’s in the box of the RT85 keyboard?

  • The packaging is compact, robust, and attractive. Additionally, it can be recycled.
  • The RT85 keyboard is a 75% form factor peripheral. Furthermore, it comes in 2 colourways and has a set of Wisteria V2 Linear switches provided.
  • Pull the keycaps with the tool.
  • Spare switches are provided.
  • Power and charge the device with the braided USB-C cable.
  • Learn the fundamentals with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

Gaming via wired or wireless connectivity is a must for many people. If you opt for wireless gaming, you’ll have concerns about battery life. Thankfully, the huge 8,000 mAh battery capacity offers over 24 hours of gaming prowess. Alternatively, this can increase vastly if you turn off the RGB. As such, you can choose whatever works for you. If you play using the Bluetooth functionality, you can connect up to 3 devices at once. This seamless transitioning between profiles was fantastic.

If you choose to play with a wired connection or the USB dongle, you’ll enjoy 1000 Hz polling. This rapid responsive arrangement is perfect if you love to type or play fast-paced games. Alternatively, if you use the Bluetooth function, the polling drops to 125 Hz. Although this is still suitable for many tasks, elite gamers will need that match-winning edge.

Hot-swapping switches is big business. The RT85 keyboard allows you to remove the provided switches for any compatible 5-pin switches. The provided Wisteria switches deliver comfortable actuation and responsive inputs. Consequently, I didn’t need to swap them.

If you love to game, but you fancy something different, this device has a joystick located by the arrow keys. This was a little quirky and unusual, but it was a joy to use. I’m not sure everyone will love this option, but it can be ignored if it’s not for you.

Usability.

If you love to remap your keyboard, you can do so with ease. The free-to-download software allows you to remap keys, plan macros, adjust RGB settings, edit the layout, and customise the screen. I used the software repeatedly, and I loved its intuitive design and user-friendly approach.

The data screen is a nice addition to the keyboard. It displays key information for your PC and is handy as a quick point of reference if things are going wrong. Alternatively, you may install custom images and animations to add a little flair. Either way, it is a nice touch that is bound to impress.

Build quality.

Epomaker makes quality products that are real head turners. The RT series looks amazing because of its retro style. The RT85 keyboard follows suit with its off-colour housing and vibrant keycaps. Furthermore, the data screen juxtaposes this without being obnoxious or ruining the vibe.

The plastic case and PBT keycaps are designed with durability and longevity in mind. Subsequently, the colours will not fade, and you will not have to endure that awful shiny, greasy finish. If you wish to remove the keycaps, this can be done with ease. Moreover, the switches can be removed with no technical prowess.

If you love a strong mechanical soundscape, you’ll adore this keyboard. The 5 layers of acoustic dampening are combined with the creamy gasket mount. The result is a dreamy soundscape with that delightful clacky, mechanical sound.

Is the RT85 keyboard worth it?

Getting yourself a retro-inspired keyboard is a real treat. It adds flair, character, and a conversation starter to your gaming rig. Additionally, this device delivers high-end tech without undermining the dated finish. I love the durability, the versatility, and the incredible aesthetic. Accordingly, it is fantastic, and I recommend buying it here!
