Ubisoft and Blue Byte are proud to announce the 20^th anniversary of the famous brand The Settlers. The very first The Settlers game was released in 1993 for Amiga-PC and later ported for MS-DOS. This was the beginning of one of the biggest success stories in computer gaming “Made in Germany”. So far seven main games and multiple adaptions have been released including the very successful browser game The Settlers® Online. Until now more than nine million copies have been sold.

To celebrate this anniversary a new event will take place in the game. New adventures, taking their inspirations from Settlers II, will appear: the Retro Click Adventures (playable for all players) and the Semi-retro Military Adventures (playable for players from level 26). A new “balloon” resource will also be made available. This lootable resource will contribute to the community effort: each server will be ranked according to its global number of balloons, so if players work together they will get the best rewards. Additionally, servers will have to reach a certain amount of balloons. When a server completes 100% of its balloon objective, its users are automatically rewarded with the Settlers II original headquarters. Every further objective reached will grant players with nice rewards and additionally the fastest server and the one which gathered the most balloons will receive extra rewards.

Angry Birds Trilogy Out for Wii and Wii U in August

Activision Blizzard, Inc. in association with Rovio Entertainment, has unveiled the latest details on the upcoming retail releases of Angry Birds Trilogy for Nintendo’s Wii U and Wii systems expected to be available this summer.

These newest additions to the series will bring the tactile strategy and feathered fury of one of gaming’s most iconic franchises to Nintendo’s home console audience for the first time.

The details are as follows:

Wii U Features:

– Play the game on the big screen or bring it down to play only on the GamePad with TV/ Wii U GamePad swap capability

– Use Wii U GamePad touch screen controls to fling your bird with accuracy

– Online leaderboards for taking on the world’s high scores

Wii and Wii U Bonus Content:

– Over 40 hours of gameplay fun have been added, with 165 fan-favourite holiday and seasonally themed levels on-disc

Both the Wii U and Wii editions of Angry Birds Trilogy will contain all the great content found in the original versions of Angry Birds Trilogy (released in 2012 and selling over 1.7 million units globally), including 19 episodes exclusive to the console game and over one hundred hours of total gameplay – spanning the breadth of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio.

Angry Birds Trilogy is rated PEGI 3. It is expected to be available 16^th August, 2013 for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Wii systems.

Ashley is probably most famous for her role as Ellie in Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. She was also in The Avengers (and yes, I ask her again about Avengers 2).

The demonic first person shooter Painkiller Hell & Damnation is out now on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Addressed an issue reported by the community where camos and reticles would change or disappear.
Addressed an issue reported by the community where players could run away with the bomb in a Search and Destroy or Demolition match.
Addressed an issue reported by the community where players could become invincible for a period of time.
Resolved an exploit reported by the community where players could receive a secondary weapon in the primary slot in Create a Class.
Fixed an issue with friendly Stealth Choppers attacking friendly AGR’s in Free for All.
Fixed a map exploit on Turbine that allowed the player to hide inside of a rock.
Fixed an issue where the Emblems and Calling Cards were not updating for a 2nd profile signed in as a Split-Screen user.
