The Vibe108 keyboard from Mechlands is a full-size 1800 layout device with a media knob, customisable inputs, and vibrant RGB. Furthermore, this keyboard is aesthetically pleasing. There is a fine attention to detail that will be appreciated by the gaming community. Additionally, it has a pleasant actuation and comfortable typing profile.

On top of this, it is versatile. This triple-mode device allows users the ability to work via Bluetooth, wireless dongle, and USB-C cable. Moreover, there is an impressive 10,000 mAh battery to ensure that power is the last thing on your mind. If you like to play with settings, this keyboard has customisable hotkeys to suit your needs. Therefore, this could be the keyboard of your dreams.

What’s in the box of the Vibe108 keyboard?

  • The packaging is vibrant, large and strong. Additionally, it can be recycled.
  • The Vibe108 keyboard has a pleasant white and blue livery. This full-size device is perfect if you have a large workstation, and the tri-mode connectivity reduces wiring nightmares.
  • Pull the keycaps with the pulling tool.
  • Charge or power the keyboard with the USB-C cable.
  • Learn the basics with the user manual.

Technical aspects.

This 104-key peripheral utilises some impressive gaming tech. The highlight is the NKRO anti-ghost key feature. This registers every input to allow users to move seamlessly from one piece of cover to the next. Although it takes a little getting used to, it is great to use once you understand what you are doing.

The Vibe108 keyboard has impressive polling rates when connected via a cable or the wireless dongle. 1000 Hz of polling can be enjoyed through these connectivity modes. Alternatively, if you don’t mind 125 Hz, Bluetooth is a reliable and easy option. Furthermore, you can connect 3 devices for seamless transition between devices.

The large battery is one of the most impressive features of this peripheral. 10,000 mAh battery capacity offers huge gaming sessions or work sessions between charges. However, if you need to check your power levels or charge the device, this can be done with ease. The built-in south-facing RGB highlights your remaining battery power, and the fast charging keeps you in the game for longer.

Usability.

The Vibe108 keyboard is wonderfully versatile and easy to use. The hotkeys can be customised to create the perfect inputs for any game you are playing. Moreover, the aluminium media knob streamlines your approach. Instead of using on-screen settings and programs, this handy knob tackles multiple jobs from one location.

The comfortable keycaps and impressive actuation make this keyboard a joy to use during marathon sessions. The pleasant switches are responsive and accurate. Accordingly, you will suffer no fatigue when typing or gaming for hours.

Build quality.

This keyboard offers durable and colour-matched materials for a strong and eye-catching product. The hardened plastic will endure some knocks and bumps as you lose yourself in each game. Additionally, the hard-wearing keycaps resist scratching and stains as you game for hours.

If hot-swapping your switches floats your boat, the Vibe108 keyboard has you covered. You may pull the factory-lubed switches and replace them with any compatible 3 or 5-pin option. However, I didn’t think this was necessary as the provided Mechlands Cream Mint Switch set was extremely comfortable to use.

The plastic case has multiple layers of sound-dampening acoustic layers to deliver that classic thocky mechanical sound. This helps to reduce harsh audio points while offering a rich and impressive soundscape.

Is the Vibe108 keyboard worth it?

Getting the right keyboard for your needs can be tough. Do you go for a smaller and more nimble option, or do you select a classic larger design? If you are looking for the latter, the Vibe108 keyboard should be on your radar. Not only does it look great, but I love the build quality, the comfortable switches, and the versatility. Accordingly, I think it’s great, and I recommend buying it here!
