Final Thoughts
The ClipBuds Pro 2 are incredibly light and the 0.5mm memory-titanium C-Bridge sits very comfortably on your ear, so much so that you can easily forget you are wearing them.
When fully charged, the earbuds can give you up to 10 hours of listening and the charging case takes that up to a total of 46 hours. In a pinch you can charge them for just 10 minutes and get around 3 hours of playback. Don’t worry about which earbud goes where either – they automatically detect whether they are on your left or right ear and route the audio accordingly.
Pairing the ClipBuds Pro 2 with your phone or laptop is quick and easy, and thanks to Bluetooth 6.1 and dual-device connection you can go from a video call on your laptop to answering your phone without having to reconnect anything.
The sound quality is really impressive for an open-ear design, with clear vocals and a good amount of bass, and switching on Bass Mode adds a bit of extra punch. The directional audio also does a good job of keeping sound leakage down, so the people around you won’t hear what you are listening to.
Calls are where the ClipBuds Pro 2 really shine – the combination of microphones, bone-conduction sensors and AI noise reduction means your voice comes through very clearly even when there is plenty going on around you.
With an IP56 rating (for the earbuds, not the case) they are fine for workouts and the odd rain shower, and the wide-area tap controls are simple to use and easy to get the hang of.
You can also use the UgreenAudio app to tweak the EQ, turn on Spatial Audio, enable the low-latency Game Mode, find your earbuds and access the AI features such as live transcription, translation and meeting summaries – definitely worth exploring as it adds a lot to the overall experience.
The UGREEN ClipBuds Pro 2 are available now priced around £99.99 and come in Grey.
