Keep your phone topped up on the go with the UltraCharge Pro Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5K, designed for anyone who wants a simple, slim charger that snaps straight onto the back of their phone. It uses Qi2 magnetic charging, so there are no cables to carry and no fiddling about in your bag. Inside is the new BoostSolid Cell, a semi-solid state battery that promises up to three times more charge cycles than a regular power bank. That’s a really big claim, and it’s a big part of why this one caught my eye.

Features

  • Ultra-slim 8.8mm design delivers 5,000mAh of portable power without the bulk
  • BoostSolid Cell technology provides greater stability, improved temperature control and 3x longer battery lifespan
  • Fast 15W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging keeps compatible devices powered without cables
  • Premium metal housing offers a sleek, durable design
  • 22.5W USB-C charging powers compatible devices quickly through a wired connection
  • Dual-chip protection monitors temperature every 20 milliseconds for added charging safety
  • Charge two devices simultaneously using magnetic wireless charging and USB-C

A Closer Look

Final Thoughts

The UltraCharge Pro is a really great idea. Magnetic power banks are already easy to live with, and this one keeps things slim while adding a battery that should last far longer.

Snap it on, and you’re charging. Don’t worry about lining anything up, because the magnets do the work for you.

5,000mAh won’t fully recharge every phone more than once, so it’s best seen as a top-up for the day rather than a full backup.

Qi2 at 15W is a good match for compatible phones, and the USB-C port is handy for wired charging when you need it.

At £59.99 it isn’t cheap for the capacity, but the longer-lasting cell is the real selling point here. If you plan to use it every day for years, it’s definitely worth a look and is so simple to use and it’s really lightweight.

The Belkin UltraCharge Pro Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5K with BoostSolid Cell is available now priced around £59.99.
