The epic build.
The Master Rex Gaming Chair 2026 is a 25 kg beast that is best tackled with 2 people. I did it independently, and I didn’t have too many issues. However, there are moments where you’ll need to balance an arm or move the half-constructed base. When you get to this stage, a second person would be helpful. Sadly, this wasn’t to be, and I spent around an hour unscrewing bolts, placing in washers, and taking my time. This is the best approach, and it would take something of epic proportions to make a major mistake.
Each of the parts is labelled, and it is straightforward to construct. The helpful tools are easy to handle, and the screws move smoothly without the risk of damage to the coloured material. I never had to force any element of the build, and if you find your chair to be difficult to put together, you are probably doing it wrong. The biggest concern is the weight, so if you have any injured body parts, I’d suggest asking someone for a helping hand.
Technical aspects.
The Master Rex Gaming Chair 2026 is designed with epic working or gaming sessions in mind. Every aspect of the chair can be adjusted, so you can find the happy place for each part of your body. The armrest is an amazing 6D tool that can shift for extreme comfort. Alongside this, the backrest adjusts from 95 degrees to a laid-back 165 degrees. This is complemented by the retractable and comfortable footrest. Although that wasn’t my first concern, it was nice to chill out on a Teams call as those around me sat bolt upright.
The biggest improvement for this chair range has to be the back support. It can move to match the exact curvature of your spine. This forces your body into a healthy shape while reducing the pressure on your hips and legs. The result is a body that feels refreshed rather than something that has run a full marathon.
If you are a bigger person, this chair may not be for you. Any larger-framed individuals or taller people will want to opt for the Master Max alternative. The Master Rex is ideal for people no taller than 5’11” and weighing no more than 110 kg. This was ideal for me, but if you were to go for the Max chair, you do lose the footrest.
Build quality.

Not only does this increase durability, but it ensures that the ergonomic layers support your body. The rounded contours reduce the issue of hard angles and pressure points. Moreover, the colour is rich, and the stitching forms a key pattern for the attractive design. The Boulies logo looks amazing on the chair, and I liked the plump cushion as well. Every part of this office furniture feels upmarket. The class 4 gas lift strut is smooth, and adjusting the chair is a cinch. Furthermore, the armrests and seat/back position can be adjusted with the well-positioned levers. Consequently, you have a wonderfully comfortable chair that matches your personality and body shape/size.
