If you adore high fantasy, cosmic gods, and unbelievable magic, you are probably a massive fan of Warhammer Age of Sigmar (WAoS). If you’re currently screaming at your screen the words, “YESSSSS, I love it!”, then WAoS The Ultimate Guide is definitely the book for you. It is a stunning, well-constructed, vibrant and interesting read that takes you on an information-filled delve into this much-loved Warhammer franchise.

With exceptional detail, incredible art, and some of the best quality paper, this hardback book is a joy to read, and it’ll look amazing on your shelf. Phil Kelly and Jordan Green have worked wonders with this amazing passion project. Every page has eye-catching imagery and fascinating details of the miniature figures. Therefore, if you love this franchise or you wish to learn more about it, this book is the go-to option.

Why would you pick up the WAoS The Ultimate Guide?

I’ve followed WAoS for what feels like a lifetime, so the lore isn’t lost on me. However, I appreciate that it takes a lot of effort and energy to keep on top of each alliance and the background. Additionally, it can be hard to understand where this particular niche sits compared to other Warhammer cultures.

If you are currently scratching your head with no idea of what I’m saying, you’ll benefit from the WAoS The Ultimate Guide. It breaks every core idea and element down into easy-to-manage chunks. Furthermore, the flow of the information, the vibrancy and detail of the images, and the simple language ensure that you never feel lost.

Even if you are the world’s biggest fan, you can gain a lot from this book. There are details that I had missed, and this guide put me on the straight and narrow. Moreover, you get to get your “geek” on as you see each fine model up close and painted in the most incredible ways. The opening sections discuss the background, history, and key elements for the Mortal Realms and Chaos. This sets the scene in a clean and easy-to-follow manner.

After this, readers can pick whichever alliance takes their fancy. Key miniatures can be found on any of the pages. Each one has oodles of information to thrill and educate you. It is this aspect of the book that made me happy! The attention to detail was amazing. Furthermore, the authors highlighted the most fascinating elements to keep you on your toes.

Build quality.

A hardback book is as much about the feel and smell as it is about the quality of the content. After all, many of us own a Kindle device, despite the sterile environment. Accordingly, we pick up a book for that tactile and captivating experience. The WAoS The Ultimate Guide offers some of the best quality paper, colours, and binding that I’ve seen in a long time. The thick paper will resist tears and stains as you hurriedly flick through the content.

The book’s internal aspect is durable. However, I’m also passionate about how this book looks on your shelf. We all have that bookcase where the books rarely move. A display case to show others your passions. This guide looks amazing when it is sat alongside other books. The front cover is dramatic without being busy. Furthermore, the spine offers enough detail to make you intrigued.

Is the WAoS The Ultimate Guide worth it?

Although the WAoS The Ultimate Guide is a niche product, the target audience will become obsessed with it. This book delivers on every level. It covers lore, the Mortal Realms, the magic, Chaos, and each of the key alliances. Furthermore, it’s easy to navigate, and you’ll become lost in each of the fantastic images. Accordingly, I think that it is amazing, and I recommend buying it here!

The WAoS The Ultimate Guide has been awarded the Movies Games and Tech Gold Award.
