The TAO Clean UMMA Diamond Sonic Toothbrush is well-built and easy to use.
The UMMA Diamond has a slim, elegant design. The handle has a satisfying weight to it — not too heavy, not too light — and the matte finish gives it a premium look. The brush head bristles feel noticeably soft yet effective on the gums.
The charging base is compact and tidy, and will sit securely on your bathroom shelf. It holds the toothbrush securely and charges it without needing to fiddle with any cables directly on the handle itself.
On a full charge (which takes around 8 hours via the base), the Umma Diamond lasts up to three weeks with twice-daily brushing — which is excellent and means you are not constantly hunting for a cable at the worst possible time.
The sonic vibration is powerful but not jarring, and the bristles do a great job of leaving your teeth feeling genuinely clean rather than just brushed. The sensitive mode in particular is a welcome addition for anyone with delicate gums, working gently but effectively without any discomfort.
