Technical aspects.
The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO is remarkably easy to use. It reminded me of the Torch Microphone from ROCCAT. This was an impressive device and something I used regularly. However, I prefer the compact design of QPAD’s latest product. Additionally, I like the simple polar pattern switch, the RGB indicator, and the touch-to-mute button.
The combination of Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid, and Bidirectional recording options makes this a versatile peripheral. Moreover, the recording quality in each mode is fantastic. If you want a high-quality recording with a no-nonsense approach, this device should be on your radar.

Audio quality.
No matter which polar pattern you select, the recording quality is impressive. 24-bit/90 kHz audio resolution and a 14 mm condenser capsule microphone capture every tonal range. Whether it is high notes or a booming bass line, this device captures and clearly records every moment.
When you have a complex audio situation, the Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO doesn’t let you down. I tested this on a group podcast, and the result was impressive. The conversation wasn’t blown out or distorted. Instead, I could hear every word with ease. Finally, it does a great job of reducing unwanted background noises. Although it can’t mitigate every external sound, it does an impressive job.

Build quality.
The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO combines high-quality plastic with metal elements for a strong and stable device. The stand has a matte black finish and is reasonably heavy. The base must be screwed into the body, and this creates an element of versatility. If you have a standard boom arm, you can ignore the base and attach it to your boom arm instead.
The plastic elements are strong while being designed to resist marks and stains. The RGB is housed within the microphone body, and this creates a delightful lighting effect. The RGB can be altered, and this can be done without the use of PC software.
I love tactile switches and buttons. Thankfully, the key components are all tactile, and this reduces the risk of issues when muting your device or changing polar patterns. The chunky dial is easy to find and simple to use. Additionally, the top-mounted switch is placed perfectly to maintain the sleek and professional appearance.
Is the Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO worth it?
I’ve tested many fantastic microphones. The Omnibeam Stream Mic RGB PRO is a great device that offers impressive voice recording. Furthermore, it handles complicated situations like a champ. Although it won’t stand up against the top-end options, this is an extremely good entry-level product at a very good price. Accordingly, it is great, and I recommend buying it here!
