I adore Lepro. This company makes lighting your house a walk in the park. Accordingly, when they asked me to look at the Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights, I could hardly resist. This set of lights comes in 2 handy sizes, and I was given the 30m option. Though this may be excessive for smaller properties, I couldn’t wait to make my cottage sparkle!
These IP65 fully waterproof lights will withstand harsh conditions. Furthermore, as long as you install them correctly, they will survive harsh winters, scorching heat, and biblical rain. Consequently, they are perfect for the inclement weather of the UK.

Technical aspects.
The Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights have a handy timer system to save energy and deliver peace of mind. If you are away, you can set the lights to give the impression that someone is home. Alternatively, maybe it is Christmas and you wish to add some festive cheer. Either way, these string lights will not let you down.
Though I spent much of my time playing with the different colours, a mixture of warm and cool white lights can be selected. This option is perfect for highlighting key areas without the glitzy light show. Additionally, you can use the lights to illuminate a pathway for added security.
Usability.
Every Lepro product can be controlled with Google Assistant or Alexa. I have an Alexa, but I prefer using the free-to-download Lepro App. This intuitive program lets you play with every aspect of this product. Whether you change the colours, set a pattern, or tell it your emotions, it listens and reacts.
The result is a responsive product that personalises your house. Alternatively, the music sync mode lets your lights feel the beat of every sound they hear. This creates some funky lighting that reacts to every animal, vehicle, or human.
The straightforward app is a cinch to use, and making the lights work is unbelievably easy. You may select individual segments or the whole string to highlight every key area of your property.
Build quality.
Lepro keep producing amazing products. The materials are second to none, and I know they are built to last. Unlike traditional hanging lights, the Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights are circular with a flat back. This design is easy to mount on solid flat surfaces. Furthermore, the sleek design withstands gusts of wind.
The full waterproof rating is essential. However, it is critical to understand that the power adaptor is not waterproof! Consequently, you must be mindful of this when attaching the lights to your property. Once I hang these lights from the house, I do not want to mess with them again. Luckily, setting them up was a walk in the park, and adjusting them was even easier.
Each of the LED lights is well constructed. The material is durable and every part is rated from -20°C to 40°C. This is ideal for the UK, but could be problematic in extreme areas such as Australia and the US.
Are the Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights worth it?
I’ve tried many different outdoor lights since I’ve owned a house. Unfortunately, many have failed, or the lights are underwhelming. Thankfully, the Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights were great. The colours are vibrant and impressive. Additionally, the AI tech to control every aspect was phenomenal.
