The Insomnia i71 Gaming Festival is back with a bang! This UK gaming staple since 1999 can be visited between Thursday 7th September and Sunday 10th September 2023. As normal, the event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham and is a hit with UK gamers. Whether you love LAN gaming, retro consoles, tabletop or card games, or the immersive world of VR, this event has got your back!

Alongside this, there are live talks, merchandise stalls, cosplay, collectables, activities, food carts, daily tournaments, and a live Esports stage. Accordingly, you can delve into endless gaming action or sit back and watch the madness unfold. Whatever you choose, you are bound to have an incredible day or weekend surrounded by fellow enthusiasts.

When can I buy tickets for the Insomnia i71 Gaming Festival?

You may think I’m a little late to the party as tickets are already on sale. However, fear not as they can be purchased through the official website.

Insomnia i71 Gaming Festival day tickets starts from £27. Moreover, children under 6 go free! Additionally, weekend passes kick off at £79, with a host of add-ons and goodies available. This includes full-event camping with early festival access. A range of ticket options designed specifically for LAN gamers is also available. These range from Lite passes priced from £89 for the weekend, to VIP tickets from £290.

New for September is LAN lite passes, starting at £89 for the weekend. Consequently, it’s the perfect option for anyone wishing to delve into the captivating world of LAN gaming for the first time. Clan boxes will also be available for the first time. Therefore, LAN groups may use a private gaming space complete with options to personalise the area.

Established over 20 years ago, Insomnia the Gaming Festival offers a weekend jammed to the rafters with non-stop gaming. Meet fellow players and special guests from the world of gaming. Alternatively, hang out with your favourite creators, attend panels, and compete in tournaments for prizes.

From curious first-timers to die-hard fans, the festival offers something for everyone. Players will be able to choose between a selection of gaming zones: tackle classic titles in the Retro area, jump into the world of VR in the Immersion area, or enjoy a tabletop game.
