In association with JAZZ RE:FRESHED and MQA, Bluesound is thrilled to present JAZZ RE:FEST ONLINE 2020. JAZZ RE:FEST is the annually sold-out showcase of the UK’s hottest new jazz acts, and this year promises to be one for the books as the festival is going virtual for the very first time!
Curated and produced by JAZZ RE:FRESHED, one of the UK’s leading jazz music incubators, and recorded live at London’s The Mill Studios, the full festival will be broadcast on JazzRefreshedTV’s YouTube channel, and streamed exclusively in high resolution MQA audio to BluOS Enabled devices from Bluesound, NAD Electronics, DALI Loudspeakers, and Monitor Audio.
The amazing four-hour show will feature performances from breakthrough and established acts including Binker Golding, Sahra Gure, Steam Down, Ms Maurice, Golden Mean, Jas Kayser and Anthony Joseph, bringing the festival’s signature atmosphere and excitement directly into your home.

The remote nature of this year’s show means that it is the first time that audiences outside of the UK can enjoy the festival, as it will be streamed direct to people’s homes in high-resolution audio using technology from Bluesound and MQA. You won’t want to miss it!
Accessing the stream
Any BluOS Enabled product will be able to access the stream via the MQA button that will appear in the navigation drawer of the BluOS Controller app ahead of the event. The audio stream will be broadcast in full resolution MQA on August 23rd, allowing you to enjoy every nuance and detail of the live performances, as though you were in the studio with the artists. To access the stream, follow the instructions in the video or the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Ensure your players are updated to 3.8.19. Open the BluOS Controller app on August 23rd, 2020, from 5-9 PM British Summer Time
Step 2: Open the Player Drawer to select the Bluesound or BluOS Enabled player you wish to use for the stream
Step 3: Open the Navigation Drawer to choose your music source
Step 4: Find and tap on the MQA icon to choose the event stream
Step 5: Tap on the Jazz Re:fest Online 2020 icon to activate the event stream
Step 6: Enjoy the performances as though you were in the studio with the artists
