  1. Perfect for my brother who is looking after our parents whilst in lockdown – he is also a massive Star Wars geek

  2. It’s the best film franchise in history and 1977 Star Wars was the first film I was allowed to see at the cinema with friends and NO parents – Happy Memories!

  3. I’d love to win as me and my brother always used to watch star wars together when we were younger and as I haven’t saw him during lockdown, this would be perfect to have a catch up and watch together.

  4. I should win as I only got to watch it once in the cinema and had to rush out mid way through to use the loo (damn those bucket sized tango blasts!!!!) so I missed bits of it

  5. Big Star Wars fan here.

Dislike what Star Wars has become under Kathleen Kennedy. Just think about, she’s been there 8 years: what NEW Intellectual Property has KK brought to the world since taking on one of the leading film industry companies?

SW is now a nonsensical mess and has lost its “archaeology of the human spirit” as GL put it. What was, on first appearances, a simple story set in space had a much more profound significance to its legions of fans because of the depth and artistry behind it. SW was true popular art. It could never have had the success that it had if there was not something there behind the spectacle. Much has been of the Joseph Campbell connection, but that’s just the starting point.

I have vowed to never spend another penny on Star Wars or Disney while KK is at the helm so I have not seen this film. If I don’t win I will wait until it’s free on television. I prefer hearing about the drama behind the scenes at Lucasfilm. A film about that IS something that I would pay to see.

  6. Because we were due to move into our new council house before lockdown – all of our possessions are boxed up besides the things we need every day. A new film would be nice as having no DVDs is boring especially being stuck indoors all the time

  7. I would love to win because when we knew we were going into lock down, we made a pact to watch movies we haven’t seen before (instead of me forcing my other half to constantly watch the movies I love over and over again!)

  8. i love to win for my who loves Star Wars because not only is she the most positive and energetic person I know but she looks after everyone from our 4 year old boy Finley and our two older children to her 80 year old dad and several of our elderly neighbours as well. She doesn’t ask for anything in return – so to win this for her as a big Thank you would be simply brilliant x

  9. I would love to win for my eldest grandson because he has had to miss school and his friends so much during lockdown!

  10. I would love to win to prove to my wife just once that I am not wasting my time entering all of these competitions. If I win I may be able to convince her the force is strong ……and errrrr also get to say “I told you so” Stay safe folks

  11. I’m one of the few long time fans of the franchise who actually liked this one and would love to have it to complete the collection.

  12. This is the only Star Wars film that i have not seen yet. It would be such a treat to find out what happens in this, the concluding film.

  13. May the Fourth be with you. Ha Ha. Did anybody see Lucasfilm twitter feed where they tried to copyright people’s tweets as Lucasfilm/Disney for May 4th? That phrase has been used by SW fans for decades and originates with the Conservative election campaign of 1979.

Until the Force Awakens I saw EVERY Star Wars film (apart from the original) on the biggest/best screen available on opening showing: I’m including the Ewok movie and the Clone Wars animation. Until SOLO I saw every SW film on opening screening but not the best cinema; when to the local dive.

The Rise of Skywalker is the first one that I haven’t seen in the cinema at all.

The Rise of Skywalker = the rise of Palpatine.
The Last Jedi is…? Not the last Jedi?
The Force Awakens: didn’t know the Force could ever go to sleep.

Nonsensical nostalgia bait. I’ll watch the Rise of Skywalker, eventually but I’m not paying Lucasfilm to do so. Hence my entry here. As I’m typing this I’m watching The Rise of Skywalker is an embarrassment by Jay Exci on youtube (not for children).

  14. I would like to win this because I am a big star wars fan and really enjoy this when I saw it in cinema would like to own it on DVD.

  15. My hubby and daughter are massive Star Wars fans and would be over the moon with this fantastic prize!.

  16. Watched it for the first time last night and would love to relive it at least once a week, such a great movie

  17. I only started watching the Star Wars films recently (apart from the originals) so I’d love to see this one too. I haven’t seen Solo, The Last Jedi or The Rise of Skywalker yet but I’ve really enjoyed the rest, even the ones others don’t like!

  18. I’d love to win this for my son, he’s a huge star wars fan. We went to the cinema twice to see this 😀

  19. My husband and son are huge Star Wars fans and in December we went to see this whilst on holiday in Florida for my son’s 6th birthday. It was his first trip to the cinema and he was blown away and is now obsessed with Star wars like his Dad. I would love to cheer them both up and remind them of better times!

  20. I grew watching all the movies, had the toys & my Mum even did a Star wars birthday party. I would love this blu ray version
