The list of TV shows and Big Screen release dates being impacted by current world events is growing and now even Superheroes are immune to the recent events. Announced by director Patty Jenkins, the release date for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ has been delayed by a couple of months to August 14 2020.
Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, tweeted her own personal message along with the news of the new date.
Following on from the first film and set before the events of Justice League, we fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.
The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.
Wonder Woman 1984 will now release on August 14th 2020.
