A Closer Look

Final Thoughts

Amazon Kindles have been around for a while now and each new model brings something extra to the table, and this year’s model is no exception.

As with previous Kindles, this one is small and very lightweight. You can easily carry it around and not really even notice it.

The 7″ screen is incredibly sharp and clear and makes reading very easy on the eye, even for extended periods of time. Unlike a real book, because the Kindle is very lightweight you don’t even notice now long you are actually reading it.

You also have the option to change the screen from white to amber so you can find whichever is more comfortable for you – although it is very quick and easy to change back and forth if you want.

This Kindle is waterproof so you can read it in the bath without any fear of it getting wet and damaged. Amazon state the Kindle can be in up to two metres of fresh water for up to 60 minutes.

Setting up the Kindle is very simple, just sign into your Amazon account and that’s it! You can then download any existing books you might already own or you can just go and buy some and get reading. Don’t forget there’s also a huge range of free books from Amazon too.

Reading a book on the Kindle is a breeze – you can change pages either with the buttons to move forward and back or via the touch screen. It’s actually easier and feels more natural using the buttons.

You can adjust various settings on the Kindle, including the size of the text so finding your perfect reading setup is very easy.

The battery on the Kindle lasts a long time – a very long time, so you shouldn’t be caught out when the battery runs out.

If you like to read then the 2019 Kindle Oasis is a must – you simply wont be able to put it down. Amazon have another winner on their hands.

There are three version of the 2019 Kindle Oasis – 8GB WiFi, 32GB WiFi (this one) and 32GB WiFi and 4G. There are also two colours, Graphite (this one) and Gold.

The 2019 Kindle Oasis from Amazon is available now priced £259.99 for the 32GB version, with other versions also available.
