The wait is almost over! BEYOND, the seventh major FREE update for No Man’s Sky is coming August 14th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. BEYOND launches just over a year after the incredibly well received NEXT update, and is actually much bigger in terms of size. This latest update from the immensely talented team over at Hello Games includes all-new Social, Multiplayer and Virtual Reality Experiences. In case you missed the news earlier this year, or you aren’t aware of BEYOND, let us tell you a little bit more… No Man’s Sky: BEYOND rolls three major updates into one larger free release. This includes No Man’s Sky Online, an all-new social and multiplayer experience that empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet, play and explore together. No Man’s Sky Online will not require a subscription and won’t contain microtransactions.
BEYOND will be totally free to download for all existing players.
BEYOND will also introduce Virtual Reality to supporting platforms for the very first time, bringing the entire game to life in an immersive and enriched VR experience.
