A Closer Look

Final Thoughts

If you have a PSVR then you already know what it’s like to immerse yourself in the world of VR, but up until now you had to either use headphones or listen to the audio from your TV or sound system. This is where the Mantis comes into play. It’s a detachable set of on-ear headphones that simply clip onto the sides of the PSVR ensuring that you remain fully immersed in whatever world you are visiting.

They are easy to fit and easy to adjust, and just as easy to remove if you don’t won’t them on for any reason.

The sounds quality is good and it really makes you feel like you are there although it’s no match for high quality set of headphones, but then it’s not there to do that or be at that price point. Because of the design of the Mantis, some of the ambient noise is blocked out, meaning you get to hear more of whatever it is you are doing in the game. It’s not perfect but it’s good enough.

The ear cups are very comfortable and can be used for extended periods, although with any VR experience you probably want to have regular breaks!

The Mantis actually looks like it was made by Sony and designed to blend in perfectly with the PSVR, almost like it should have been included with the PSVR.

If you have a PSVR then this is the one accessory you need!

The Mantis Headset for the PlayStation 4 from Bionik Gaming his available now priced around £49.99.
