A Closer Look

Final Thoughts

The Recon 200 is available in both white and black, for this review we had the white one.

The headset is very lightweight so you can wear it for extended periods of time without it becoming too uncomfortable.

The headset works well with Xbox and PlayStation and also Nintendo Switch, and also with mobile devices. You may need to buy a headset audio adapter for your Xbox One controller, depending on which one you have, so take a look before you buy, just to make sure.

There is also a switch on the headset to select between Xbox and PS4 too!

The microphone is attached to the headset, but it can be easily flipped up and out of the way if you don’t want to use it. The quality of the microphone is excellent and other people could hear me talking perfectly. You can also adjust the sound of your own voice too with the variable mic monitoring function.

Sound is provided via 40mm speakers and it is of excellent quality, with amplified audio and a bass boost too – your ears won’t be disappointed.

The batteries lasts for around 12 hours of use so you can get a lot of gaming in before you need to recharge them.

Turtle Beach have another winner on their hands, and for the price you can’t go wrong.

The Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 200 Headset for is available now in both white and black, priced around £49.95, but as usual look around for the best deal.
