Those itching to play the new game in the Mega Man franchise will be pleased to find out that a new demo has just been released today.
It must be a pretty substantial demo given that it makes it possible to take on one of the new bosses called Block Man. The level in the demo takes place in a pyramid themed stage, where players are encouraged to get acquainted with the new Double Gear system and some weapons received after defeating other bosses.
As with Mega Man 10, it will be possible to pick an appropriate difficulty level before taking on the many challenges within it. In order to build up hype for the title, Capcom has created the “Bust Block Man” challenge, where those who go up against the boss and boast about their victory on social media with the #BustBlockMan hashtag, will get the chance to receive some items that can be redeemed in the full version of the game.
The demo is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Capcom has also released a new trailer that showcases a new boss called Bounce Man and his stage called Boing-Boing Park. There’s glimpses of other bosses and some of the new features that players will get to experience in the demo and the full game. Those that pre-order the title will receive an alternative in-game soundtrack downloadable content.
