I found fitting the seat into the car very simple and easy – it only took a few moments. One of the great things about all of the Britax car seats we had tried over the years is that they are very easy to fit and remove. The support leg is easy to set up too and really gives you that added feeling of the seat being safe and securely in place.
To ensure that the DUALFIX i-SIZE will work with your car, Britax have a list of cars and their various models so you can easily tell if the seat is compatible. It is worth checking this out before you purchase the seat.
The integrated 5-point harness was easy to use and adjust and there are soft neoprene chest pads to make it comfortable for your child. The V shaped headrest gives additional side impact protection in the case of a side impact collision. The rebound bar also gives the seat some additional protection by ensuring that the seat will not tilt in an impact. All things you hope you never ever experience but it’s good to have that knowledge that your child is as protected as they can be.
The seat can also recline into twelve (yes twelve) different positions, plus forward and rear facing positions, ensuring a more comfortable journey. There is even a laying flat position for new borns too!
The seat cover can easily be removed and washed if (or rather when) needed.
The seat itself can be rotated 360 degrees making it very easy to get your child in and out of the seat no matter what the position you have it set at.
I can highly recommend the DUALFIX i-SIZE if you want a high quality, safe and secure car seat that is very easy to fit and is one that you can get around 4 years of use out of. Britax have yet another winner on their hands!
