The previously teased Bandai Namco title has been named Code Vein and now Bandai Namco has released a proper trailer for it.
This new trailer will provide players with more details of the captivating Code Vein universe and a good look at its challenging weapon-based combat. The trailer also showcases the use of companions when exploring the world. These companions are picked from the various residents that live in a place Vein. The idea is to pick an appropriate companion that will be most suitable in dealing with different challenges, such as formidable foes.
Bandai Namco has also released some information on the game’s story:
“In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.”
For now here is the new trailer and Code Vein is scheduled to be released on major consoles at some point in 2018.
