About a year ago Lenovo was chosen by Google as a producer of the first smartphone compatible with Project Tango, or with a platform that transforms your mobile device into an object that can map the surrounding environment. The fruit of this collaboration is called Phab 2 Pro and is now available on the market, even for purchase online, at a cost of about $499.99 (no UK pricing just yet). The views affect the characteristics hardware valuable: the 6.4-inch screen with qHD (1.440×2.560 pixels) resolution, the aluminium and glass body with rounded corners, divided into gold or silver.
Within the smartphone and, usually, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 4 GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel rear camera and a front 8, a powerful 4,050 mAh battery with turbo charging and – above all – a kit of sensors allow to detect movement, location (geolocation) and the depths of space.
According to Lenovo, the Phab 2 Pro can capture up to 250 thousand measurements per second . To do what? The existing augmented reality applications ranging from the field of gaming to teaching, from furniture of shopping interior.
