I think your description of the game was more exciting than the actual game itself. It’s very much a bare minimum effort of a Kart game, As a result the Xbox One and PS4 have become lesser consoles for merely offering this game…
I get the feeling this studio had the main grandfather character left over, unused from one of their advertising campaigns and decided to just build a game around it, since the other characters are woefully under-designed compared to this main character, even in the cutscenes the main grandfather character is a very nicely modelled, well textured high resolution render, whilst the other characters are low poly, low resolution half-arsed models…
However, there is a good point to be made, I was eligiable for a refund 🙂
