With Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 represent the newest incarnation of a long running annual series, Treyarch is doing a few things differently. Among them is a multiplayer beta to help sort out any potential kinks prior to launch. Activision has now revealed the beta dates and, as indicated by its new deal with Sony, PlayStation users will get first dibs.
PlayStation 4 owners can jump in on the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta on 19th August, which will run through that Sunday. Xbox One and PC owners will have their opportunity a week later on 26th August, with their beta going through 30th August. Details on which game modes and maps will be available during this period will be revealed later.
Beta access will come to those that pre-order the upcoming game, which is set to release on 6th November. For more, check out the Black Ops 3 beta page.
